[Aside from Kylo Ren. And that small incident with FN-2187. And the pilot.
Small things.]
I know what a gift is. I've even given a few, actually.

Because you still operate under the illusion that the master you serve is letting you do anything of your free will.
[ He blinked at that and laughed out right. ]
Name one.

[He knew Snoke's power but Hux also had his own motivations. Snoke most likely saw a most willing servant but Hux saw a bigger picture than Snoke.
That was something he would keep to himself though, even here.]
I gave one of the fleet admirals a bottle of Corellian brandy last year for Empire Day.
[It had been poisoned but it was thought that counted.]

People who are part of your order, especially the ones leading it? They aren't very different from one another. Letting you have any sort of control or real effect on their desired outcome wouldn't be something they'd risk.
[ It's cute, you keep telling yourself that Hux. ]
That's giving one, not getting one.

[He knew that arrogance and saw Snoke heading down the same path Palpatine once had. It was something Hux would take advantage of in due time. He already had the army in his grasp but he knew he had to be careful when he decided to make his move.
For now, Snoke was still useful. He had been able to do what he had wanted to do since before the day he had even met Snoke. ]
Well, he graciously give me two destroyers to use so it was my way of thanking him.
[Granted he got the star destroyers because of the admiral's death but small details.]

[ He's surprised at this agreement, and it shows on his face. He doubted that this seeming epiphany would be enough to make Hux realize his many other faults, but baby steps. Baby steps. He did not, for a moment, think the other was any less arrogant and didn't want some sort of power with that realization, though. ]
Yeah, don't thank me for anything. Ever.

If you insist, though I've been told I very good at showing my appreciation when necessary. [Perhaps not directly but Hux liked to think he made his point.]

[ Kirk straightened up and cocked his brow, wondering if that was blatant flirtation or the other bragging. He suspected the latter since the other was more repressed than a Catholic school boy. But he walked back over to him anyways, stopping not far from him and leaning in, dropping his voice to a low, husky whisper. ]
Oh, I remember how very good you were at it.
no subject
[Hux smirked, leaning in as well, planning on just teasing Kir so he didn't reach out. He preferred not to get dirt on his uniform and all over if he could help it.]
no subject
[ No, it wasn't, but he wasn't going to let Hux in exactly how much he had enjoyed their very rough and brief encounter. ]
Repetition makes for a better memory.
no subject
[Hux smirked with amusement as he stepped forward but he kept his hands clasped behind his back.]
You can just admit that you need a reminder- hopefully your shuttle isn't too far away.
no subject
I said I remembered, not how clearly. It wasn't exactly seared into my memories.
[ It was a direct challenge to Hux, poking at his pride with words and a snarky smile. ]
no subject
[It's definitely a matter of pride right now.]
no subject
[ He smirked a bit, knowing he had gotten to him. ]
What's the matter? Surely your not performance shy. Not like this place is exactly crowded.

[ He reached out to grab Hux by his shirt, to try and pull him close and then ride him down to the forest floor. ]
no subject
[He was cut off by Kirk suddenly grabbing him and before he knew it he felt his back hit the ground. He wouldn't let Kirk just get away with that and he reached out to pull him down just as roughly.]
You're so uncivilized. [But that didn't stop him from pulling Kirk down for a rough kiss nonetheless.]
no subject
It's the cleanest people who are the dirtiest, you know.
[ He kissed him back, though it was far from loving. It was more rough passes of his tongue and sharp bites of his teeth than anything, a battle rather than a union. ]
no subject
He paused as he started to figure out Kirk's ridiculous suit, frowning.]
What in the Emperor's name are you wearing? Take it off.
no subject
[ Why the other had such problems with his suit, he would never know. It was rather simple, really. Hux's own outfits were usually much more complicated. As it was, he sat up and opened a flat at the top of his jacket, exposing the zipper and working it down to show the black v-neck beneath. He did it slowly - perhaps to mock Hux, or perhaps to rile him up. Probably both. ]
I'm going to chalk that one up to your natural impatience.
no subject
[Whatever Kirk was doing had the intended effect as Hux just decided to reach up and yank the v-neck shirt. Of course, he wasn't being gentle and didn't pause even when he heard fabric rip in the process. The ripped shirt was tossed aside as he set about taking off his own uniform jacket and shirt.]
no subject
[ Oh, damn, and he liked that particular shirt. Good thing he had quite a few of them, since they ended up getting torn quite a bit with Remy too. In retaliation, his fingers dove for Hux's coat, tugging at it sharply, not caring it bit into the other's skin or if buckles snapped. ]
Pot calling the kettle black.
no subject
There. Now, pants off.
no subject
You first. I went first on my shirt.
[ Even as he says it, his hands dove downwards, not quite scrambling, jerking Hux's belt and working at button and zipper with the practiced ease of one who has done this many times, both quickly and not. ]
