It really doesn't have to do that.
imfine1111one: (and to all a good fuck you)

[personal profile] imfine1111one 2016-10-16 06:41 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure it simply must insist on doing so. Unfortunately there's not much we can do but wait to see what else happens on our travels.

I know . . . hopefully it's nothing - too bad. I-I haven't heard anything like that yet.
imfine1111one: (I got fired from Dress Barn today.)

Me neither. Being in space aside. . .it's been. Hm. Nice? Ish? Moderately less stressful than I imagined.

S-Something like that, yeah. I mean, the first day was - something, but after that it's been . . . I don't know. S-Space is really cool, though.
imfine1111one: (Seen through.)

[personal profile] imfine1111one 2016-10-16 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
. . .

Are you worried about something happening?

[personal profile] seanced 2016-10-16 07:21 am (UTC)(link)
Uh, yeah? Haven't you ever seen a show or a movie set in space? Something always happens.

[movie logic is flawless, okay]
imfine1111one: (A pair of fools.)

Oh! Haha, well, I've sort of resigned myself to the thought of some horrible alien monster bursting through our chests or us flying directly into a black hole or whatnot. There's no way we'd get stuck on a cruise without a catch, after all.

But as of now, it's not happening, so. . .it's best not to worry that far ahead. Perhaps just a couple weeks in advance.

I-Its hard not to worry when you come from a time where this isn't actually . . . possible. Not yet, anyway. I think.

[she pauses, then frowns a little] It wasn't when I was alive, anyway.
imfine1111one: (Sigh. Bunnycorn life everywhere.)

[personal profile] imfine1111one 2016-10-17 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
I'm from the 2020s and it definitely isn't possible. I'm still not sure how to explain how this is all even happening.

. . .deep down, I guess I'm kind of hoping it's all an elaborate stage.

I died in 1991, but it's 2013 now. Or - it was back home.

. . . it would make more sense if it was. B-But it all feels a little too real.
imfine1111one: (He died mid-metaphor?)

[personal profile] imfine1111one 2016-10-23 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
Oh wow. No wonder it's especially jarring for you.

But, well. It is what it is. But if you get nervous about it, there is something you can do to take all the weirdness off your mind.

Y-Yeah. I mean, at least it wasn't a - bad kind of jarring. A-And it isn't . . . too different. [mostly]

That's true. I mostly . . . spend time in the library. It's a good way to keep myself - um, busy.
