[she clears her throat and turns her attention back to the screen]

Um, h-hi, I'm Winnie and - okay, being in space is kind of really cool, but - could someone answer a few questions for me? A-And tell me how I can go back home? I really can't stay here, I was kind of - busy.

[what an understatement. She looks around again, then turns the camera to the pudding desserts]

And if anyone wants some of these, I'm on the - Bishop? I don't, uh - I'm not really hungry.

[she startles a little and whirls towards the voice, pausing when she sees the glowing eyes]

Why's that?

Teleportation magic doesn't work, and furthermore, our ships are tethered to the Marsiva. Sometimes there are planets and waystations to visit, but... we cannot go home.

So we're just . . . stuck here? [she presses her lips together, unsure if she should be upset or angry] Not even magic works?

[she says it in a way that sounds like she's amazed it actually exists, despite absolutely reeking of it]

[Cheese heard the fanfare and came to investigate. It's always worthwhile, seeing what new person had arrived. As such, Winnie will have a little pony walking over to her, smile across his face.]

Hey there, welcome to the Bishop. I'll try to answer anything you want.

[He glances down at the poor pudding. ]

Are you sure? They're really good, and you only get them when you arrive on a ship.

[He gives a little shrug of his shoulders, smile still firmly in place. ]

It's okay, I'm pretty used to it by now. At least you're polite about it, that's a nice change.

[He sits down, shifting a hoof to pull the pudding closer. Waste not want not. ]

Are there people who are rude about it? [how can people be rude to a pony, that's so weird.

She crosses her arms, nodding]

Someone already said we can't go home, and that was my big question . . .

[He gives a soft, annoyed snort. ] Ohhh wow, yeah. Being told you can't exist more than once is a hoot.

[she frowns and shakes her head] It's a little upsetting . . . I-I mean, I'm sure a lot of people have important things going on, not just me, but - they don't care about that, do they? The, um, the people who brought us here.

[He doesn't especially LIKE it, but it's better than mulling on it forever. ]

Nope! And you know what's weirder? This isn't the only world like this. I got kidnapped by one before I came here. A few of us did. None of those cared about what we had going on back home, either.

Makes for better enterainment, I guess- and Atroma seems to know that knowledge is power, so they give us as little as possible. Their representatives only talk to us every few months or so and won't answer any questions.

The feed clicks on but it's not Gemini's face in the picture, instead it's Finrod's, a slightly sinister smile on his perfect elven features as he greets her.]

Welcome to the Bishop, Winnie. I am Finrod, the captain of this ship. I’m afraid you're stuck with us for the time being, we'll try to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible.

[it probably isn't a surprise that the smile makes her uncomfortable; then again, she seems like the type easily rustled]
