[Kanda arrives on the bridge in a puff of confetti. He does not look pleased, but then again, that's his usual expression. He's dressed in a black uniform and a long trenchcoat, and he has a bag slung over his shoulder for traveling-- as well as a wrapped up bundle in the shape of a sword.

He's visited maybe once or twice in the past month, but now he's here to stay. Surprise?]

[Your newest lab support guy doesn't really need to check out the lab since he's bled in there before, but he might visit briefly in order to see if there's any flourescent ones he can nab for an indoor garden. He's also taking stock of the bath facilities and just how upgraded the bedrooms are. Nice.

Later on, Kanda may be found poking around the kitchen to see what the Blue Fish has for food. If there's anything even vaguely resembling Japanese food, he's going to eat that first... but the true goal here is pumpkin tempura, so give him about fifteen minutes and he'll be frying some up.]

[Allen is walking in from the kitchen after waking up from a nap (okay maybe not so much a nap as passing out after staying up late to study). He hasn't gotten the memo yet about the new crewmate, so he's rather confused at seeing whose digging around in the kitchen]

Kanda? [He yawns and stretches a little] What're you doing here?

[He's pretty sure he took Kanda back to his ship after the last time they hung out....at least, he's pretty sure. He did, right? He wouldn't forget to take someone back to their ship...

[He adds some water to a bowl, then glances over his shoulder and sees Allen. Looks like he's having a typical lazy day.]

I'm making lunch.

[If Allen looks, he'll see a bunch of vegetables have been chopped into graspable pieces, which he's now dumping into the tempura batter.]

Oh, right. I transferred.

[Did he hear that right? What?

Okay he's going for the coffee pot. Please let there be some leftover coffee]

[If there's leftover coffee, Kanda hasn't touched it. He drops the tempura into a wok with oil.]

[Well that was fast. But looks like there's some luck, with there being some leftover coffee. He pours himself a cup]

Um- okay. That was fast? Did something...happen at the Red Fish?

Not really. [He shrugs.] I just didn't want to be there anymore.

[Well okay, he can't blame anyone for not wanting to be on the Red Fish. And it's not like he has an actual problem with Kanda being on his ship. It makes some things easier. Still... ]

[There is definitely the sound of a muffled chuckle as Allen drinks his coffee]

[Sokka does his best to greet everyone who newly arrives on the Blue Fish. It's a matter of pride, for him. To be sure they know they're in a good place, that they're safe here, that they can come to him for anything.

He's...actually pretty surprised to see Kanda there. Allen hadn't mentioned anything at all about him transferring. Weird. That's not like Allen at all. ]

Oh uh...hey? This is a...cool surprise.

[Oh, right, it's that one guy. Sake? Soccer? He greets Sokka not with a smile, but his usual frown.]

This is still Allen's ship, right?

Is there a problem?

[Sweet jesus, it's like being with Zuko with Extra Flavour. ]

Oh, no! Not at all. That's cool. It'll be nice for him to have a friend around.

[He's still not convinced Kanda actually IS a friend. But Allen doesn't seem to hate him so yeah, sure. Why not. He smiles, offering a hand.]

[He doesn't come right out and SAY they're not friends, but he does glance away. Typical tsundere.]

I won't cause any trouble.

[Well, they might yell a lot. But that's par for the course. He looks at the extended hand and takes it. His handshake is fairly noncommittal.]
