[For those who've been here awhile, a familiar scene comes onto the feed. Allen's standing behind a table in the Blue Fish clinic. The lab itself looks more Halloween-y than usual. There's a jack-o-lanterns and a few Halloween decorations. Timcanpy is behind him on the shelf, where what looks to be a little cape and fake vampire teeth over his already sharp teeth. Okay.]

Hello everyone! If you don't know me, I'm Allen Walker, one of the medics aboard the Blue Fish. Nice to see you all again.

Just a few announcements today! We'll be holding our bimonthly blood drive next weekend. The blood donated is kept for medical emergencies that require blood transfusions. In other words, we use scientific methods to help someone whose lost a lot of blood. If you donate, we'll gladly pay you!

If you're interested and are over the age of 16, please fill out the form attached to this video. [And what do you know, it's there] If you're interested in volunteering, please let me know. Vampires and similar beings interested in volunteering need to be able to have restraint around blood and will not be allowed to sample the blood. The blood drive will be held on the SS Blue Fish, as usual.

And as always, there will be cookies to anyone who volunteers or donates.

Moving on, a few other minor announcements. [He puts on a pair of reading glasses and starts to read off a sheet of paper:]

Over the next few weeks, there's a number of Earth holidays of a rather...macabre flavour: Day of the Dead, Bonfire Night, and most popular- Halloween. So if you have Earth crewmates carving pumpkins, dressing up, showing a fascination with skeletons, ghosts and other things like that, gouging on candy, burning effigies- that's why. Please don't be alarmed.

If you drink blood or enjoy your meat rare, I've been notified that the meat from the planet can give rather...odd side effects if not cooked thoroughly. Side effects include decreased in good decision-making skills and increased urges to write poetry. Please show caution.

Finally, there's been many reports of some people feeling some sort of...presence with the planet. [for a second, he looks uneasy about it, but it leaves after a moment] We're still looking fully into it, and I'm not sure what it means. If anyone has any more information about it, it'd be appreciated.

A little over a year. You've been around for a while too, right? I think I've seen you about before.

Mm! It's been two years as of this month. I was part of the first group brought here.

[It's a little disheartening to hear, but a little easier to swallow considering she's already been here for a year.]

They just don't want to let you go, huh?

[He shrugs]

Suppose not. Couldn't tell you why, I don't think I'm that interesting.

Maybe they're hoping you'll pull out something crazy when they're least expecting it?

Ha...well, I suppose I do have a few aces up my sleeve.

What about you? A year's a long time.

I think they keep me on for the pity factor. Home had limited access to water, resources ... viewers seen to think I need a vacation.

I'd rather be home, though.

I see. Got things to take care of back home? Or is it just because it's home?

[Not that she didn't think the Wives capable, considering how they'd proven themselves on the Fury Road, but that was her fight, too, and she wanted to make sure it got better for them. It didn't feel right, sitting here in luxury while they dealt with the aftermath.]

Well then, I hope you get off this "vacation" and back home soon.

Ah... [He hesitates for a good moment. It's a question he's avoided thinking about honestly]

I...don't know. I've- I've been away from home for almost nine years, so ... it's complicated.

Nine years?

[Something in Furiosa sinks, thinking about what could happen in that time, how many regimes could change over. She doesn't usually despair at being here, but to think anyone would be out of the loop for that long ...]

How do you manage?

[He shrugs with one shoulder. It's a question he gets asked a lot, and he's never fully sure how to answer. There wasn't some secret to it. He didn't have a secret weapon]

Same way you manage to live any other life, I suppose. You learn to adapt.

[That, she could relate to, at least. In some ways it might have been a better answer than a "secret weapon". She knew she could adapt. Nine years? If she didn't have any other choice, yes. She could do it. She nods and settles back in her seat.]

That's the best anyone can do, to survive.

Exactly. I can't stop living just because I seem to have a penchant for being kidnapped across dimensions.

Are you saying this has happened to you before?

Mm! The first seven years I spent at a castle that kidnapped people from different worlds.

This place is actually much nicer. I mean, the food's worse, but besides that.
