You are cordially invited to Cisco and Winn's Not-Too-Terrifying Halloween Costume Party!

[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

[ it actually takes him a moment to recognize her - it's not until her voice sinks in that he realizes who is sitting before him and he has a very vivid flashback to the first time they spoke - and what an awkward mess he was. ]

[ he feels like he should be asking kara to keep an eye out for people who don't realize they're talking to a teenager. ]

I could not think of someone to go as, everyone seemed to have an idea of a kind and then, I thought I shall fool them all and dress as most girls do in their, your time.

[ she's grinning as her little plan evidently worked ]

[ he was fooled for a moment, and he knows her well. grinning at the compliment he rubs the back of his neck -- and that just feels weird in this outfit. supersuits look really cool but they sure do take some getting used to! ]

[ of all the peculiar things he heard of. Margaery's world isn't a stranger to the concept of heroes but their speed was never really discussed in any of the songs, except - ]

In Westeros, it is the horse of the hero who usually receives compliments regarding speed.

Well, I mean I never actually measured him against anyone else, I never met the guy - but stories have it he's really really fast. Much faster than a horse.

Well, I think he would have been honored. You certainly rush around the room faster than anyone else. Have you ate anything since arriving here? I do wish I knew how much work the entire affair had demanded, I would have helped.

[ she reaches back for a soda ]

[ a bubbling drink! how funny! ]

[ he laughs, really hoping that she's right. he never met barry, but from cisco and kara's stories he sounds like a great guy. he really does want to do him proud. ]

Thanks - yeah, don't worry, we snacked while we were setting up. [ he nods ] And we had help, really it was the fun kind of work.

[ he smiles and looks at what she's drinking. ] It's carbonated sunshine. [ he had such a great time watching her try her first cola the first time they met. he loves that she's still so full of wonder about these little things. ]

I feel terrible not having helped. I insist to help when this celebration comes to an end, if it is alright. Some of us will need to clean this hall, surely?

[ a servant's work, most ladies would say but Margaery is hardly as spoiled as most would think her to be. ]

We never dressed as something else in Westeros, such an odd holiday, this one is.

Don't worry about it, really - we had fun putting this together. [ cleaning it up on the other hand, he imagines wouldn't be nearly as fun, even with the great company. drunk and exhausted don't make the best combo for productivity, and he imagines it'll be the state both he and cisco will be in when the night's over. the hall is one thing, it's technically theirs they can get it done the next day. but the hallway and the haunted house would both have to be cleared up asap so they wouldn't inconvenience anyone. truthfully, they could use all the help they can get, but still accepting help isn't the easiest thing in the world for winn. he doesn't want to inconvenience her, either. ] And we can get it cleaned up, it's fine.

[ he hasn't slept in 2 weeks, what's one more night, right! ]

I wish I could mix you the sodas we got back home - that really is sunshine in a glass. With jet fuel.

[ oh, he misses it so! ]

It's the best holiday, especially when you're a kid cuz then you get to go trick or treating - that's when kids put on costumes and knock on doors and people give them candy.

You will allow me to help, I hope? I shall be quite heartbroken if not and then what will they say? You have saddened a lady! We cannot have that.

[ she does seem quite startled! ]

No, we certainly cannot have that.

[ he smiles, grateful and fond. ]

Well usually you do it in your neighborhood so you recognize most of the people, from last Halloween if nothing else.

[ oh goodness; a moment later, she laughs, shakes her head ]

All these many moons in the fleet and there is still so much I do not know, you must think me so silly.

Nah, I bet I'll sound super silly to you if we started talking about knights and royalty. Actually - why don't we talk about knights more often? Knights are awesome.

[ wait, he's getting sidetracked again, isn't he. clearing his throat. ]

Well, a neighborhood's like this defined area of a town or city or whatever - ok, if we imagine the fleet as one city we could potentially call each ship a neighborhood.

[ is he explaining this right? doesn't feel like he's explaining this right... ]

I think I understand. So the Tourist is out neighborhood, yes?

[ like flea bottom, she thinks though most of the ladies and lords would hardly call that place anything. Now she has a word for it, a neighborhood in King's Landing, albeit a very poor one. ]

Some knights are quite wonderful, others very disappointing. I once had to spend an entire evening in the company of a knight who boasted endlessly on his grandeur. It was not a good visit for him, Loras had defeated him in battle in mere minutes the very next day.

Yeah, kinda.

[ he nods -- and snorts at her story. ]

That's a great knight story, way to go, Loras!

I may be a little biased -

[ she says with an air of mischief. ]

But I do think Loras is one of the finest knights in the seven kingdoms.
