[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

It is. Can't wait to see Steve's reaction—even the USO version.

He's gonna like it - I'm pretty sure. [ a pause ] He'll be okay with it. [ of that he is sure - he knows that kitty admires him. anyone who ever heard her talk to him/about him knows that she's a fan. and he and winn are friends, so steve would know it was all done with the best of intentions. ]

How many versions are there? [ look, super suits are his thing, he's interested! ]

I can't say I've kept track. Sometimes it seems like the boys get more wardrobe changes than Cher.

[There are always upgrades being made to one thing or another.

She can't say it's not true of herself either, but she's comfortable excluding that.]

Tony has to be the worst though.

But do they get more upgrades than an IOS, that's the true test -

[ he can't really say anything about it, if he could he would be tinkering and improving the supergirl suit all the time too, but kara doesn't really need anything besides a cool iconic outfit. ]

Are they tech upgrades? Cuz that's legit. Though changing the USO suit is also - super legit. [ that thing is pretty hilarious, not gonna lie. ]

Sometimes tech upgrades. Sometimes, different uniforms for different ops. Sometimes it's just rebranding.

Who's in charge of the branding? [ he's getting such intense ms. grant flashbacks here. you know what, he would not be surprised if she dominates that for the avengers too.

another pause. he knew she's from their world but the more she talks about it the more certain he is that she's also on their team and he's just dying to know more. ]

What's your brand?

I've been a lot of brands. Right now? Maybe turning a little free agent.

[She glances back over the room, her attention lingering on Steve. None of the others seem to be here, at least not where she can see.]

But the Avengers have had a few different faces. SHIELD. Tony.

[winn]

Tony? [ tilting his head lightly. ] Hm, I thought Steve was the leader - [ he just gives off that sort of leader-y vibe. then again, he doesn't know tony well, they only met just the one time. ]

Tony is definitely not the leader. But he is the money. And the engineer.

[Engineer seems like an understatement, but also accurate when you broke it down.]

When you foot the bills and donate one of your company's facilities for the new Avengers compound, you get a lot of say in the the brand.

Plus, Steve's not one to look at color swatches.

That makes sense.

[ he nods. ]

Maaaan being you guys' engineer must be the funnest job ever though... [ wistfully. he loves team supergirl and won't trade it for the world, don't get him wrong here, but she kind of comes with most things built in. getting to work on a suit for kate or the other projects he's taken on in the fleet has awakened his inner inventor and now that guy will not shut up. ]

When there aren't alien invasions and genocidal robots, probably.

Well, actually from an inventor's point of view, that's when things get their most interesting - I mean awful, of course! - but otherwise what are you inventing? Standard weaponry?

[Natasha clears her throat. She knows a rhetorical question when she hears it, but she still can't help herself.]

Clean, sustainable energy for next to no cost after start up?

You guys work on that too? [ no one ever told him! well, if there really are that many avengers it would make sense for some of them to use their incredible powers to save the earth from well, people. ]

That is so awesome - are you close? Are you involved with that, because I have questions - [ the very tech-y science-y kind. ]

[That gets a smile out of her—an apologetic smile, the kind that says she's about to disappoint him.]

Tony's working on that. Stark Industries pivoted into energy when he got out of the weapon's business.

[She tips her head.]

The Avengers come from a lot of different backgrounds.

[ he's disappointed - but not that much. in fact, visibly, he just looks excited and chin-handy. ]

I could listen to Avengers stories for the rest of my life and it'll be an awesome life. [ he's such a fan. ]

I have to wonder what you've heard already.

Well, actually most of my stories are from Kate's universe - I heard some about Steve's early days... [ and seen, peggy shared the memory of him turning into captain america with him. ouch. ]

[ he nods. ]

Speaking of -- [ expectant look here. he's dying to know hers ok! you can almost see a phantom tail wagging there. ]

[Natasha pauses. She hasn't been in a hurry to share her own code name, but it's hardly a secret. After that hesitation, she admits:]

Black Widow.

What do you mean, running out of good code names?

That is - that's a good one - well done.

he and cisco are just horrified by some of the code names and outfits they've been hearing about. clearly this is what happens when a superhero doesn't have their nerdy sidekick - you always need a nerdy sidekick! ] You know, they got stuff like Squirrel Girl - which, I'm sure she's awesome but there has got to be a better way to represent that.
