You are cordially invited to Cisco and Winn's Not-Too-Terrifying Halloween Costume Party!

[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

That should be the motto of your superhero team. You can put it on all the merchandising!

We already have a motto - stronger together.

[ even though supergirl usually works alone, back when he's from. well. alone-ish, the together refers to her back-office team. or teams actually. ]

Besides, merchandise is notoriously unshared.

You're partially responsible for this party, yeah? Because, let me tell you, it is a fantastic party! Not that I've had much experience celebrating Halloween in space, and yet I am absolutely willing to go on record to say that this is clearly one of the best!

It's our first too so we mostly improvised but I think we did pretty awesome anyway - I'm glad you're enjoying it.

It's the first bit of fun I've had in weeks that hasn't been at my expense!

[Never mind that his dancing and singing skills probably make this statement at least somewhat untrue.]

[ ok if he's aiding a superhero and makes supersuits, winn will accept him as another alternate version of himself, like cisco and hank. ]

[Well, there was that time Liv at the brain of a vigilante, basically making her a superhero?]

There hasn't been "hanging around" so much as "kitchen disasters with consequences"! But Kara did assure me that you would be one of "my people", so to speak.

Kara should know, she's my best friend. [ even through the mask, the fondness comes through. ] Have you met Cisco and Hank? The three of us are kinda like the three nerdsketeers.

[arfvader]

I know Hank, but I've yet to have the pleasure of meeting Cisco! Kara was telling me about your "think tank" and how it's the fastest way to get on her coffee delivery list though! Any chance you have room for a d'Artagnan on your crew? I have a science degree and everything!

A love of science and karaoke is pretty much all you need. Or, well, a tolerance of it in Hank's case. Which ship are you on?

Yes! I'm in the club!

[He does a little victory fist-pump at that!]

I'm on The Three Twins as a cook. Our labs support dabbles in healing magic and has told me in no uncertain terms that he basically thinks my brand of medicine is barbaric.

[He drops his voice to a whisper.]

But I'm pretty sure he secretly likes me.

[There has actually been no concrete indication of that, Ravi.]

[ he nods seriously. ]

[ smiling. he likes you already, ravi-sorry-too-much-drinking-to-remember-your-last-name! ]

I've been actually learning a little medicine from dr. Crusher - she's really cool, if you don't know her yet - I bet you'd enjoy talking shop. She's really nice.

Yeah, I've really got to work on my social game. Sounds like there's tons of interesting people I need to get around to meeting!

So many. I suggest you start with the Blameless - it's where Hank and Cisco live so we upgraded the hell out of that lab, and Kate's a really good cook, she can probably help you out -

[ he's so proud of himself for having a social circle, can you tell? ]

Mentally noted! And by "mentally noted" I really mean "probably going to need a reminder about all this when there is less alcohol in my system"!

[ snapping his fingers and taking out his communicator ]

Voice mail, it's your friend - [ looking through the contact list, he leaves him a message. ] got you covered.

[arfvader]

That's brilliant! You're brilliant! Don't tell Kitty, but you are definitely the winner of the coveted "Better Half" title for the night!

[winn]

[ he laughs and shakes his head. of course he knows kitty, she talks about him getting around but he's pretty sure she knows everyone on the fleet. ]

The night's still young [ and he'll always argue that she's better. ] and she has a better victory dance.

[arfvader]

I think I'd need to see your victory dance first as a point of reference before I can make any kind of final call!

[And he gestures towards the dance floor with one sweeping motion of his arm.]

[ we can pretend he's doing this because of the alcohol but really - he'd do it 10000% sober too.

shrugging, he takes the dance floor and does a ridiculous victory dance. the flash has never looked more dignified! ]

Something like that - [ striking a pose when the song's over. ]

[Clapping loudly and letting out a holler of support at the end of it like a true bro!]

I can truly say that I have never seen anything like it!

I'm one of a kind, bro. At least til you meet Cisco, we're kind of our earth's version of each other. And Hank's us with a dignity add-on.
