[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

I am definitely not beating him at the microphone unless I'm literally beating him with a microphone. And I would pass on that. [No one hurts her Winn! Not even her.]

That's probably wise. Violence is generally frowned upon and I'd be forced to downgrade you from "middling half" to "the very worst half".

[Maybe there is a microphone beating in Ravi's future.]

You might have to downgrade me. Fighting is what I did back home. [She was also an assassin for the X-Men so... Welcome to the darkest timeline! Not that she hasn't lightened up considerably without being in such dire straights having to make those kinds of choices.]

"Back home" shouldn't always be applicable to here, as far as I'm concerned. My history as a wand-head - for example - while still cool, should absolutely not be held against me out here in space.

[She looks at him curiously. Half thinking he's making this up already.] Wand head?

There was a time in my life when I was really into the art of magic tricks and illusions. I've since moved on, but I will always have a fondness for that era!

Oh, of course you did. [Soft sigh. It's not that she minds the tricks. It's just that every science-y person she meets manages to remind her of the boyfriend before Winn who broke her heart. Reid loved doing magic tricks.]

[He picks up on that change in demeanor.]

But it's obviously in everyone's best interests if I say no more on the matter! I don't want to jeopardize my all-important image with the audience, after all!

[She has a feeling that follow-up has to do with her reaction and she smiles softly. It's sweet.]

Have you decided what kind of image you want to cultivate? The resident bad boy maybe? [He could never pull that one off.]

[And he completely commits to this expression of mock indignation.]

I can hear the doubt in your voice, and I would just like to assure you that I am perfectly capable of being a "bad boy". The baddest of the bad, even!

Oh, wow, you know I didn't think you had it in you and now I'm super convinced. [This is what convinced sounds like, right? You can tell by the way she looks like she might laugh?]

Just you wait, Kitty Pryde! My true bad-boy nature will soon be seen by all!

[But he sounds far more petulant than threatening and knows in his heart he would never pull it off.]

You bad boys. Always going around looking out for the lungs of others. [She looks amused.] Space helped me quit more or less. Harder to find them. At first I was told there wouldn't be any so I wasn't looking. [She could be stocking up on stations now, but she invests in food instead. She has bummed a cigarette or two from Chloe though. But her habit of doing it to manage stress has dissipated.]

Huh. Well, I'll have to consider prescribing "space travel via kidnapping" as a way to quit smoking.

Do you think insurance companies would cover it?

I'd say it's a toss-up.

Sure. That seems reasonable and logical. Of course the bad news is it didn't work for Chloe, but it has for me and Remy so 2 out of 3? Very scientific.

That's a pretty reasonable success rate by my count! Of course, my of my patients aren't alive so mine may not be the best opinion.
