You are cordially invited to Cisco and Winn's Not-Too-Terrifying Halloween Costume Party!

[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

normal, confident cant and he shifts closer to Dante. ]}

Ah, some captain from some show Winn likes. I take it it's supposed to be a comedy, given the uniform.

_{[ He turns his hip, tugging at the little at the tiny outfit. ]}

[Okay, not one of his better puns but he can only work with what he's got. He takes a sip from his drink.]

Me? Just this. [He pulls down his mask. Nothing elaborate or even remotely thoughtful.] Not really into dressing up, but I needed something to get it.

_{[ It gets a laugh all the same. Hey, he can't argue it right? And he
takes it as a compliment of sorts. ]}

I must say, it really brings out your cheekbones.

_{[ Haha, see, he can make puns too, Dante. ]}

[He still snorts though because it was certainly better than his.]

Does this place - fleet - always have parties like this?

_{[ The grin is back, flirtation touching the corners as he tossed a
wink at Dante. ]}

This was done by Winn and Cisco, so it's passenger made, not Atroma. Atroma did have a party on the Marsiva a bit ago, but I wasn't touching that with a nine and a half foot pole and a hazard suit.

[That wink almost gets a raised eyebrow. Admittedly, Dante's not terribly used to guys flirting with him. Not that he's against it or anything, but when one runs with gangs, well... it doesn't come up often.

But hey, he'll roll with it.]

What kind of party was it?

_{[ Sexuality doesn't much matter in the wider universe, or so Kirk
thought. Especially not with species that don't even have a concept of
male/female. ]}

Something about an anniversary, I think. Nothing happened that I can tell, but they provided food, games, the like. It felt like a distraction for something, personally, or like putting a dog treat under a box and waiting for one to waltz in.

_{[ He gave a shrug and shifted closer to Dante, knocking back a gulp of
his drink. ]}

But are we going to talk shop or are we going to dance?

[He merely nods, taking another drink as he takes in what Kirk says. He nearly spits out said drink though when he's asked to dance.]

...you're gonna dance in those shorts?

[Then again, he supposed his ass would look great out there. Honestly, he's never had a guy ask him to dance before, but well. Fuck it. He's had enough to drink, and he could afford to let off a little steam.]

_{[ Kirk looks down at said shorts and back at Dante and smirks. No,
Kirk is not shy and yes he is definitely going to dance. He had gotten
himself into this mess and he was going to hold his head high and waltz his
way through it, damn it. Besides, you know you want to get your hands on
those legs and probably that ass. Or Kirk could just think that about most
people, since that's how it worked quite a bit with him. Either way, he's
getting a dance. ]}

Oh, come up with that one yourself, did you?

_{[ He laughs all the same and reaches out to grab Dante's hand and
hurry him to the floor, promptly wrapping his arms around his shoulders and
swaying with the music. ]}

I'll be sure to add that title to my business card.

_{[ Kirk doesn't think twice about it, personally. In his era, it's not
anything to blink at or make note of, and since Dante wasn't pulling away
and had been making cracks about his legs all night, well, why not get up
close and personal? Dante wasn't bad looking, besides, so it was fun for
Kirk in a lot of ways. ]}

Oh, of course. Do you know how much I had to run from things with quite a lot of teeth to get this ass? Absolutely it's going at the top of the card.
