[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

[Damn right. Though now that her belly is somewhat exposed, Nami can see some... Interesting things. Namely, scars- A giant vertical one that goes through her front and back, a tiny diagonal one overlapping it on her front, and a giant one across her back that extends from one shoulder down to the opposite hip. And there's probably a few more still hidden under the clothes.

She doesn't seem to mind, though, perking up when she seems Nami, tail wagging slightly at a familiar face.]

Your kind words flatter me... I was simply fortunate to find something similar to what I wore in my master's court. Despite the location, it seems this planet and station have quite masterful weavers.

[So much scarring doesn't so much elicit sympathy as remind Nami that Aria's a swordsman. Respect, yo.]

They did a good job, yeah. Is the climate hot where you come from?

No, my own country is a land of cold and snow. But the kingdom my master is from is a vast desert.

Ah, so you've travelled pretty far, then. But yeah, I was thinking desert with that style of fashion. I've always liked it.

[Reminds her of Arabasta. And it is very cute.]

Only at my master's side. Though it was enough to give me a desire to keep to land as often as I may.

I quite enjoy it as well, though it took some getting used to. Much of the country did- A land where the sun is like death, where people sleep during the day and only come from their homes once the sun has set.

[She sounds really fond when she's talking about that country, though.]

How's the water situation there? Does it rain sometimes?

Rarely. But their kingdom was built upon an oasis.

[namisan]

Ahhhh...

I bet it's prettier than the last oasis I saw. That's good, though. It sounds like a lovely place.

... It was. Would that I had no business to attend to in my own home, and I would quite like to spend my days there instead.

Have you seen an oasis of that sort?

Mm. The only time I've been to an oasis, it was in the middle of a huge artificial drought. It was.. pretty sad. Nothing but sand and more sand.

-- Wait a moment. Artificial?

[That sounds like something she needs to stab someone for.]

Yeah. There was an asshole who staged a huge rebellion against the kingdom, and he had the power to make it stop raining. When it doesn't rain in a desert kingdom for years at a time, it can make a lot of tempers flare.

He's gone now.

... Though it is perhaps wrong, it heartens me to hear. Your world is a better place without him.

[obviously by gone you mean you killed him, right]

I don't think it's wrong. His manipulation cost the lives of thousands of people. Whatever happens to him is justified, frankly.

[Not dead, but she figures buried somewhere in Impel Down is good enough.]

[Even when someone is demonstrably evil, she doesn't want to wish harm on them. It would be nice if she could just convince people to stop being evil without any loss of life, even if a hanging body in the town square at home shows it to be impossible...]

You are correct. But at least his soul certainly burns now, to prevent any further harm.

I wish. [Genuinely she means it-- he caused Vivi and her country so much pain.]

But he's been imprisoned now. In a place he can never leave.

[...pity Luffy freed him on the way out of there himself, but Nami doesn't know that part or she'd be just a little pissed.

... He has done such great evil, and is only imprisoned?

I don't think there was conclusive proof of his guilt, and he had connections-- until he was found to be behind this, he was employed by the government. And my captain isn't a murderer.

[Nami sighs. She'd tried not to think about Crocodile. A whole lot's happened since then to show her how badly the system is flawed. But it tries.] The prison he's in, it's Impel Down. It's a horror story in its own right. You go in, you never come out again.

The country he tried to hurt, though... it's doing much better now.

[foxpas]

[She may be seriously pondering if she couldn't just like. Pop over to one piece world for a minute to stab a dude.]

... I must content myself with that, then.

[she does not look content, at all.]

[Nooo she does not. It was years ago now, and Nami can hardly change anything. But.]

If he ever shows his face here, I'll be sure to point him out to you.

[If only it were that easy. But if Crocodile ever does turn up, Nami can point out the complications then.

Besides, she can make it rain on command these days.]

If he dies here, he'll just come back. You okay with that?

This is not my first time in another world, nor the first enemy I have faced with such a power.

All right. I just wanted to make sure. [There's a small niggling discomfort about this-- Luffy left Crocodile alive, after all. But then again, the chances of a meeting are close to nil, so.]
