[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

[ okay so maybe he's the tiniest bittiest nervous to see steve even though kitty said he was fine with the costume - there's just an itsy bitsy fear of those giant biceps being used against him.

he raises his own beer towards him in greeting, and smiles. ]

[ Pietro might never have made it to be an Avenger but here, Steve counts him as part of the team. Not only because of Wanda, but also because he did the one thing Avengers ought to do, he gave everything he had, when the time came to it, to the team, to its goal, to saving people.

but that line of thinking is far too serious for a night like this. ]

Could be your world's version of him, apparently there are a bunch of different versions and they're all different people, it's not that far fetched that some would come up with different names and suits.

[ see it's like he, cisco, hank, and now he's starting to think - maybe ravi too - are all versions of each other! ]

She's at least one person you definitely recognize.

[ the fleet is a good place to learn, certainly. he knows of two other versions of himself and one was not quite captain america, not at all. ]

[ see, no harm, no foul, the biceps are not is use today. if anything, captain america looks somewhere between nostalgic and oddly pleased at the whole concept, not out of ego but - ]

[ he relaxes, and his smile turns warmer. ]

It's our pleasure. I'm glad you see it for what it is. [ a loving tribute. now if he could make hank understand that dressing him as superman is one of the biggest compliments he knows how to give a person. ]

[ he assures, with the same sincerity and stability that have become a sort of a trademark by now. The way that sentence is worded gives him pause and after a moment, he asks - ]

If I thought you wouldn't, I wouldn't have done it.

[ a pause. but for the sake of honesty - and with good sense gone with alcohol and exhaustion - ] But there was just a tiny bit of please don't punch me I'm pretty sure you can literally break my face with normal strength look at this - [ moving to stand next to him, and on his tippy-toes ] your biceps are bigger than my face - [ he's obviously not actually scared of steve, or he wouldn't be able to be this idiotic around him, but there was slight concern especially when kitty said peggy wasn't a fan of it. ]

You know, there's very few things that you can do that will get me to punch you and I honestly can't see you doing any of them. It'd be wrong to pick on someone because of something like that.

[ when he does raise an arm, it's to pat his shoulder. ]

You really thought I'd punch you over a Halloween costume?

Nah, if I thought it was a real risk I wouldn't take it - I like my face. Kinda. I like it better whole -

[ he's babbling. help. ]

But someone might by the end of the night if I don't manage to shut up - [ which, let's face it, he won't. at least most people seem grateful for the party? hoping for a forgiving mood here! ]

I think everyone does.

[ like it whole. He might be a bit concerned at this point. ]

Don't worry, I'm not going to let anyone punch you, especially not over something like this.

[ for which part, there's plenty to choose from for your concern needs.

there is just something about a superhero telling him that he's going to protect him that will never fail to move winn, almost to tears. he does have some dignity to maintain. not a lot! but...some. ]

...thanks, Steve. [ they're standing side by side, steve already has a hand on his shoulder - you know what, he's going for the hug. ]

[ his surprise fades after a moment, Avengers don't hug, it's just not something they do but that seems to be one of the perks of expending his social circle. as he returns it, the chips finally fall and he shakes his head. of course. there are only so many people here who would find this whole costume to be anything less than hilarious. Actually, there's only one. ]

You know, speaking from experience, she doesn't wait on these things. She'd have punched you hours ago if she wanted to. If she didn't, it means you're good.

[ superfriends hug all the time, this is your life now steve. ]

I know, [ he wasn't really worried about peggy punching him, but like upsetting kitty would be worse for winn than someone upsetting him, he figured it's the same for steve. not that he thinks peggy is so easily upset but - well, he's been drinking, he's not really thinking that much period. feelings are running wild! ] I talked to her. By the way, little tip for you if you don't already know - Guy Fox day bonfire, pretty sure she wants one.
