You are cordially invited to Cisco and Winn's Not-Too-Terrifying Halloween Costume Party!

[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

Of course you weren't. [ She believes him. Really, she does, one hundred and fifty percent.Just look at how supportive and understanding she is as she reaches up to gently pat his head, fingers curling though the soft, messy spikes. ]

Now we're even. Do you wanna keep going?

[grumbles unintelligibly to himself as he instinctively tilts his head into her hand]

You shouldn't ask questions like that; I'll be compelled to give you a straight answer.

[ She has plenty of ammo, most of it of the finny variety. ]

C'mon.

[ She leans forward quickly to drop a a brief kiss against his cheek, before promptly hopping up from his lap and offering him a hand. ]

After we're done in here, let's go dancing.

[tilts his head into that kiss, before he reaches for her hand and pushes himself back to his feet]

Only as long as you promise not to step on my feet.

[he's teasing. he's still a bit grumpy here, you see]

Maybe if you promise not to spend the whole thing yelling in my face this time.

[ Y'know, like you did when you were first teaching her. ]

What're you talking about? When have I ever yelled in your face while we were dancing?

[ The look she gives him is approximately fifty thousand percent incredulous. ]

Seriously? You can't tell me you forgot!

[is all he says, before he steals a quick kiss from her mouth and tugs on her hand]

C'mon, we've still got half a maze left to navigate.

[ HE'S LYING, HE'S GOT TO BE LYING – mmnnph ]

[ She kisses back, just as light and brief, as she entwines their fingers together. Back to the maze they go! Here's hoping that neither of them fall foul of any more Super Spooky Halloween props along the way. ]

[KAITO SURE ISN'T FALLING FOR ANYMORE OF THOSE JUMP SCARES TYVM. there are more hologram ghosts, some animatronic witches and werewolves, and a few spooky lighting effects. . . but none of them faze him as badly as that first one did. and it isn't long until they reach the exit]

[once they're outside again, Kaito turns towards Aoko and grins, his mood much improved]

Heh! See? That was actually kinda fun, wasn't it?

Hmmmnnn …

[ She doesn't answer right away, stretching her arms out above her head – after letting go of his hand, of course. ]

Mm! You're right. [ Rocking back onto her heels, she turns her head to grin at him. ] It was pretty cute. Just the kind of thing that every Halloween party needs.

[gives his cape an ~impressive swoosh~ as he turns to face her again, mouth quirked in a grin]

I still say you've got a pretty weird definition of "cute."
