Can anyone answer a couple questions for me? I'm still gettin' used to this whole 'you're kidnapped in space' thing. First: I'm looking for my husband but haven't heard from him nor seen him. Though I guess if we're both kidnapped that'd be a stupid thing to ask for.

[Seriously, how does she even go about solving all this? From just scrolling on her device people seem fairly normal and not in absolute distress. It's really throwing her off.]

Second: I'm missing a few things that should have been on me when I got here. I suppose I have our lovely captors to thank for that?

My mom and dad weren't married before... She wasn't married to her boyfriend after that neither, so I never got to see a husband and wife!

We didn't get to have a wedding because of some stuff that was goin' on back home, but he gave me a ring.

Oh...! That's too bad, but it's okay, I think. As long as you love each other a lot, I don't think you need t'have a wedding. [He considers it for a moment.] ... A ring is really important though, I think. I remember seeing that on TV. On a commercial! The guy looked real real worried about picking a good one.

They do that. Glenn still worries sometimes about me, maybe not about the ring so much anymore. He wants to make me happy and I want to do the same for him.

[As nice as a wedding would have been, this was easier. They were still married in all the ways that mattered.]

They do. And everyone gets dressed up and eats lots of food and the bride and groom share a piece of cake that they cut off the whole themselves.

[It really would be nice to have something like that but that was in another life for them.]
