[ Hello, fleet! Today you get a message from someone who's been more than a little absent the past month. Some people may be more aware of it than others, but he's finally crawling out of the woodwork.
Waking up has been more than a little disorienting, because he didn't recall falling asleep, or when. It makes him uneasy, a solid weight sitting in his gut. The last time he couldn't remember things, it wasn't so great for the fleet. ]

[ he makes it to his door in fourteen, one knock and then two quick ones, their usual way to say, it's me. ]

Pumpkin pie, there's a patch on the planet. Figured you might be hungry.

One of the computers on the shipwreck plays a message. We couldn't understand it but, the more time I spent there and then afterwards, I think I could make sense of one word. Cycles. The rest of it still sounds as foreign as a language can be.

oh and Halloween came and went. The party wasn't bad. There was karaoke, you would've loved it.
