You know that pumpkin you dropped off? I figured I wouldn't waste it and made a pretty decent soup out of it, if I do say so myself.

[Is it really decent? Was it wasted afterall???]

Wait, you really used it? Maker, I haven't had pumpkin soup in an age.

Well, now you've gone and gotten my hopes up, so let's get this over with, shall we?

[Despite his joke, Anders does seem eager to try some of this soup.

[Ravi enthusiastically scurries down the hallway to the kitchen where a bowl of steaming pumpkin soup and a slice of bread are waiting. Look, it's not even bad! A touch salty, but it's otherwise a perfectly acceptable pumpkin soup!

Ravi will absolutely hover too closely while Anders sits down to eat, waiting to hear the verdict.]

[Anders had to admit, the thought definitely crossed his mind that if it wasn't good, but edible, he'd lie through his teeth to at least encourage.

Luckily, that first bite proved he wouldn't need to lie. It honestly wasn't that bad.]

Wow...congratulations, I think your determination has finally payed off! This is alright, Ravi! It's hardly 'Mother's Famous Pumpkin Soup' but I'm ready to eat the whole thing.

[Which is a step up from not being willing to go past one bite of Ravi's previous culinary disasters.]

Perhaps...less salt next time? I'll see if I can grow some herbs in the Twin's garden for you to use.

...Do you intend to sit there and watch me eat like some hovering mother? Shouldn't you be eating too, or should I assume you've poisoned the soup and that's why it tastes good?
