[This lawyer has been near comatose for about almost a month, so he looks even more tired and irritable than usual when he pops up on the broadcast.]

Er--this seems like an odd thing to ask the general public but it's been on my mind for a while.

Do any of you ever wonder what's going on while we're here? Are our bodies back home in some sort of vegetative state, or in some cases, completely non existent? . . .or, uh, dead, if I have to put some things more bluntly.

I'm fairly sure I'm not, but it's difficult not to think about it.

In other news, does anyone know any good recipes for a 3 week old giant turkey you forget was stuffed in the freezer, feathers and all?

[For a less pessimistic option, Apollo is attempting to work out his unused muscles on the sad treadmill in the Bloodsport's cargo bay, video going because why not. He does not look unlike a very determined hamster. . .at least until he trips and nearly falls, repeatedly yelling OBJECTION as he stumbles back to finding his pace.]

Mm, unfortunately. I don't know if anyone knows why, aside from - getting new memories sometimes. That's happened to me.

It's the 23rd of November.

Same here. Still partially convinced someone just hit me in the back of the head and I forgot for a while.

But jeeze, the 23rd?! I knew I had been out for a while, but didn't expect to wake up to a holiday on the horizon! Talk about awkward. But appropriate for a turkey, I guess.

I'd almost believe that, but I know for a fact that it can have a physical change, too. A few of us have remembered ten years worth of things.

It is oddly appropriate. Though I don't know how many people here know it's coming, or - even what it is. Or celebrate it, for that matter.

Well, it's not exactly a global holiday even where I come from so I'm not surprised--but wait, pause on the turkey talk. Ten years?! How? I mean granted, I've just remembered half a year of stuff, but I feel like a decade of information could really change a person!

I fell asleep like you did, and a few days later woke up with ten years of memories and ten years older? [he considers, then shrugs a shoulder] I don't think I changed that much.

S. . .seriously?! You didn't feel weird or--anything? Bodies can't just suddenly age that rapidly either! This just begs more questions. . .!

Of course I felt weird, but - to be entirely fair, my body doesn't age the same as a normal human's.

That must be one hell of a medicine! But why?

A lot of reasons, really. Mostly to fit in. If you didn't notice, I kind of stick out the other way.

Urk. Y-yes, a bit. And if people react like me, you likely get overloaded with questions half the time. . .

I just didn't think there was much of a reason here, since people seem to be from all over the place.

I don't mind being overloaded with questions - I'm always happy to explain what I am and how it works. It's when there's - less positive reactions that I prefer to hide.

[he faintly shakes his head] No, it's easier here, but - old habits, you know? I spend my mornings and nights the other way, though.

Ah. . .so it's basically routine for you now, huh? That makes sense. Though, I don't think you'd stick out too much in somewhere like LA--[mostly due to normal people being the weirdest of them all]--but understood, no one would want to attract that kind of negative attention.

I'm not much for attention anyway, so it works out. I've never been to LA, though - you don't think I'd stick out there?

Not much, anyway. There's so much going on, most people would probably just think you're making a fashion statement. My former assistant runs around in a bright blue magician's outfit and at most, she gets a raised eyebrow.

You never know what people might be into. I certainly don't.

LA is a weird place like that. But in general everyone's got their own problems going on, so why bother fixating on how someone else looks?

If only everyone thought that way elsewhere. It'd make my life and some of my students' lives a lot easier.

I'm sure. Well, if nothing else, maybe the longer you're here the more comfortable you'll become.
