Who: Apollo and Whoever
Broadcast: Yes and Yes
Action: Yes for part b!
When: 22nd afternoon??
[A: QUESTIONS FOR ALL: Voice/Video/Whatevs convenient]
[This lawyer has been near comatose for about almost a month, so he looks even more tired and irritable than usual when he pops up on the broadcast.]
Er--this seems like an odd thing to ask the general public but it's been on my mind for a while.
Do any of you ever wonder what's going on while we're here? Are our bodies back home in some sort of vegetative state, or in some cases, completely non existent? . . .or, uh, dead, if I have to put some things more bluntly.
I'm fairly sure I'm not, but it's difficult not to think about it.
. . .
In other news, does anyone know any good recipes for a 3 week old giant turkey you forget was stuffed in the freezer, feathers and all?
[B: WORKING OUT action and video]
[For a less pessimistic option, Apollo is attempting to work out his unused muscles on the sad treadmill in the Bloodsport's cargo bay, video going because why not. He does not look unlike a very determined hamster. . .at least until he trips and nearly falls, repeatedly yelling OBJECTION as he stumbles back to finding his pace.]

[ He's spent too much time around the sort of people who would find that useful.]
I don't doubt that the capabilities available to our captors are greater than what's available where I'm from, but that does seem like a step too far.

It was just a thought though, trying to make sense of it all. Somehow time stopping back home and us being instantly transported here in a blink of an eye is just as much of a stretch. Yet, here we are.

Other than being transported here -- which is most likely -- it only makes sense if we're somehow copied.
It all seems like an awful lot of effort.

This is all really needlessly convoluted. . .!

Aside from not going broke, what does it matter how we live here?
no subject
It's still our lives.

Here, I'm on a--what is this, a sitcom slash reality show? It sort of pales in comparison.
no subject
It it's not, well, you probably need to do the same thing anyway.

[Somehow, that's actually oddly reassuring. . .]
Er. I guess that's one way to look at it. I suppose there's no way they can keep us here forever, after all, and it is rather easy to get lazy and rusty. . .

[Personally, there's not much Kai thinks he's missing out on in being here, but he's also got a plenty long enough life to do about everything he'd want.]
What is it you do, where you're from?

But I guess if time is really stopped, and they're not missing anything, it's. . .it's fine! I'll be fine. They'll be fine.

[ Kai doesn't understand how being a lawyer can really be important. ]

That seems messed up.

But anyway--nggh. There's no other choice than to hope everything is okay back home, right? Optimism isn't exactly a lawyer's strong point, but guess I've gotta try.
