[Crowley's bar is the setting, and Tyrion is the broadcaster, as he is setting up a chess board on one of the tables, along with different stacks of cards on others, and yes, even some odd games he managed to find called 'Monopoly' and the like.]

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Considering how ... fraught things are lately, I welcome you to come to your local watering holes and enjoy a cool beverage, and perhaps a little gaming besides that. I myself have taken to, after excellent instruction from Kitty Pryde, to teach others how to play chess. I think it might be good for all of us to get outside of our own heads for a bit. You can even bring a game of your choice, if you do not see it here.

[He bowed once, before smirking.] And if you are all really good, I have figured out how to turn this communication device into a microphone, so if one wishes to do the ... karaoke, I believe I can figure something out. Given interest and a little time, of course.

[More like Winn sometimes has a problem with Tyrion that always relates back to Kitty?] Thanks, Tyrion. So, did you have any takers for chess?

I have had a few, actually. Some surprising takers, at that. [Namely, Jeyne.]

Oh? Anyone who would surprise me?

Well there is Wrath. I never thought someone with that name would honestly want to play chess, but outside of the lying parts she seems quite interested.

[She smiles at that.] I think a lot of her friends are into it. [Kitty, Erik, and Charles. Maybe others.]

Don't think she can't live up to that name though.

Ah-hah, so she wants the ability to be able to play with her friends. Excellent.

[A snort.] I usually find that names are surprisingly accurate around here.

That is how most games work. [Though not always. But when there are opportunities for teasing she's got to take them, right?]

I hope you don't think I make a great pet.

Depends on the game, really. [He snorted softly.] And which one of us is playing it.

You would be a horrible pet. [He laughs.] You would rebel against everything.

I'm not sure the things you're thinking of should count as games. [Eyebrow raised and then she laughs.]

Got me there. Don't think you'd be any better.

They are games ... just set on larger boards, with much more to loose than a simple wooden piece.

[He smirks.] Indubitably not.

Maybe think of chess as something to gain. Friendship, strategy, but not so much with the losing.

[Smiling.]

Well, I think I can manage that. Considering how many new friends I seem to be making. By the by, thank you for the lessons.

[The faintest of smirks.]

Friends are good. [Very good. She smirks.]

Student wants to take out the teacher already? Rough. I'm always up for a game with you. The trouncing we'll have to see about.
