Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Considering how ... fraught things are lately, I welcome you to come to your local watering holes and enjoy a cool beverage, and perhaps a little gaming besides that. I myself have taken to, after excellent instruction from Kitty Pryde, to teach others how to play chess. I think it might be good for all of us to get outside of our own heads for a bit. You can even bring a game of your choice, if you do not see it here.

[He bowed once, before smirking.] And if you are all really good, I have figured out how to turn this communication device into a microphone, so if one wishes to do the ... karaoke, I believe I can figure something out. Given interest and a little time, of course.

Depends on where you come from. Where I am from, it is a necessary skill for survival. [His mouth twitches.] I am rather. Not as good as Charles Xavier though.

That sounds like a bad place to be from. But I know my home is like that too. I just suck at lying. [Wait, what is he saying about Charles? The implication kind of sails over her head; Charles is one of her best friends.] Charles is really good at poker. Well. Most of the people I play with are.

Well I cannot teach you how to lie - but I at least can teach you not to give your expressions away? [He is old hat at that. A quiet chuckle.] That doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

I don't know if I'd want to be good at lying. I hate it when people lie to me.

Well, I would promise you that I would never lie ... but I am offering to teach you poker so that is sort of an empty vessel of one.

Um... you could promise not to lie if it's not poker? But you seem like a really nice person, so it's not like you'd lie anyway, right?

I only lie to my enemies, never to my friends. [He stated simply.] We owe each other that much honor, after all.

Well, I guess if they're bad people, that's okay then. [Huh.] I don't really know about that honor stuff, so whatever you say!

I shall do my best to tell the truth to you, how does that sound?

Okay? Do my best is kind of. Um. It leaves wiggle room? But you're a good guy so... that sounds good!

Lying has become second nature to me, alas. To protect myself, more than anything else. [He sighed softly, before giving her a wry smile.] I shall do what I can.

That's... really sad. Why would it be like that?

That is the ... well. The simple way of things. Of life and otherwise.

I think it's probably like that where I'm from too. I just... have had a really weird life. [Maybe she sucks at lying and doesn't understand it because it's something Compliance put in place. It's a creepy thought.]

You know, I can believe that about you. [Yes this is said with a completely straight face.]

[Wrath laughs.] Well, I am pretty fucking weird. Even weirder than you think!

Well you realize that I can find someone rather strange to begin with? [Is his arch, teasing reply.]

That shows you're a very perceptive person. [Totally serious.]

I have been accused of such. [He stated simply, his mouth twitching at the corners.]

Probably get accused of being smart too, so you're doing pretty good.

Oh that I get accused of all the time. [Is his even more innocent reply.] Much to the chagrin of others.

Well, that's what they get for not realizing your smart already. I mean, it's pretty obvious.

You are a kind and generous soul, Wrath. [There is a lot of irony in this name.]

Aw, thanks Tyrion. I try really hard to be a kind and generous person like General Ravani would want me to be when I'm killing motherfuckers on the battlefield.

...Is there truly any other way to be? I think not.
