[His cloak is missing, that's the first thing he notices. And it annoys him, that was a good cloak, very comfortable, very warm. The next thing he remember is that he had just killed the Guardian, which makes him roll onto the floor in a panic (knocking the communicator down and on) and try to find a mirror to double check his eyes.

Once he's reassured that there's no green glow lingering, he heaves a sigh of relief. And turns his focus to the communicator. Which... he knows how it works? And picks it up.]

I can't be here. I have things to do, people depending on me! [Kind of.] There's a war and-

I need to get back to my friends! They need me!

[He wanders because of course he does. Khadgar has found himself in a strange place, subject to the whims of whoever or whatever was responsible for his and everyone else being there. He wanted to know whatever he can, carefully keeping a couple spells at the edge of his thoughts in case someone tries to attack him.

Eventually he stops to take in the view of the stars, somehow looking much younger than he really is as he looks out. And suddenly feeling very small.]

You haven't seen what we're fighting against so no, they actually might not.

I fought legions of the undead. I found my way back from the underworld. I can bring the dead back to life.

I don't need to see to know the nature of war.

And they're great brutes summoned from another world by a demon, and using death magic. I'd rather not lose many more friends to them.

[Okay, maybe he didn't know Callan but Lothar was destroyed by his death.]

But if your friends are strong, they must also learn to fight on their own as much as fighting together.

No offense, but as much as I trust the king and his soldiers, no amount of strength is going to be enough when one of theirs can crush a mans skull with one bare hand.

Several occasions does not make it fact. Especially in a war. Surely a seasoned mage like yourself would know this.

Or you could take advantage of what you can learn here. You can't leave, not yet. This magic is stronger than yours.

So make better use of your time instead.

None of us are here by choice, wizard. And we're certainly not staying here because we want to.

Fel shouldn't even exist in Azeroth, it kills even when you aren't actively using it. It corrupts people and plants, repelling it means it would still be there.

Not to me. My skills are different compared to, let's say, a warlock. Or a shaman.

I had a solution. For one source of fel, the one I could reach. King Llane is close to the other.
