[His cloak is missing, that's the first thing he notices. And it annoys him, that was a good cloak, very comfortable, very warm. The next thing he remember is that he had just killed the Guardian, which makes him roll onto the floor in a panic (knocking the communicator down and on) and try to find a mirror to double check his eyes.

Once he's reassured that there's no green glow lingering, he heaves a sigh of relief. And turns his focus to the communicator. Which... he knows how it works? And picks it up.]

I can't be here. I have things to do, people depending on me! [Kind of.] There's a war and-

I need to get back to my friends! They need me!

[He wanders because of course he does. Khadgar has found himself in a strange place, subject to the whims of whoever or whatever was responsible for his and everyone else being there. He wanted to know whatever he can, carefully keeping a couple spells at the edge of his thoughts in case someone tries to attack him.

Eventually he stops to take in the view of the stars, somehow looking much younger than he really is as he looks out. And suddenly feeling very small.]

[The voice is relaxed, doesn't display a shred of actual hotheadedness.

Garrett is sitting nearby actually, being a major stealth creeper, one booted leg hanging off the edge of the bed and the other tucked toward his chest to lean the communication device against. He's been awake long enough to be plenty confused and disoriented and displeased, but taking things in stride is usually his forte.

... This is pretty damn weird, though. One should have limits in not questioning their sanity.

He glances over from the device, thick eyebrows raised over blood-red eyes that track the man. The man isn't actually being that noisy, really, but Garrett's strange ears catch the bell-like chime of it against the metallic walls, bouncing, echoing with great clarity in the wake of Garrett's attempt to focus on the screen.

He smiles a toothy white smile.]

Though, I admittedly am far more interested in this 'war' of yours in the here and now.

[His first impulse, after waking up somewhere strange and no remembering falling sleep or unconscious again, is to summon a spell, the words slipping from his lips without much thought and his eye glowing blue while a ball of arcane energy forms in his hand.

And it takes him a moment to realize he's just managed to sneak up on him, not attack. After Medivh, he's a little on edge.]

[No fear, mysterious stranger, Garrett is confident enough (sometimes stupidly so, but regardless) of his ability to evade sudden danger. He puts up his hands in a shrug, cocking his head to the side. Apparently, he isn't too worried about being murdered via energy ball.

Bright as hell, though. He looks unblinkingly back.]

Hey, we're all... friends here, until we're not.

[He slouches back again, swinging the leg. He's deathly pale in the glow of the energy, immediately interested in this strange new world — and these strange glowing eyes — because perhaps they should very well start a fanclub for unusual eyes?]

Orcs? Big, boarish beasts with discolored skin and nose rings?

[He's not a big reader, but he's been around a long while.

Longer than Lord of the Rings, anyway.]

[She is used to gawking, between here and the Box. Even in her own world Exos weren't exactly common, so she takes it in stride.]

Orcs? Those are like, some sort of humanoid beast, right? I'd come across mention of them in the Archives but it was all tied to fantasy fiction.
