Who: Khadgar
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Marsiva
When: Dec. 1st.
[His cloak is missing, that's the first thing he notices. And it annoys him, that was a good cloak, very comfortable, very warm. The next thing he remember is that he had just killed the Guardian, which makes him roll onto the floor in a panic (knocking the communicator down and on) and try to find a mirror to double check his eyes.
Once he's reassured that there's no green glow lingering, he heaves a sigh of relief. And turns his focus to the communicator. Which... he knows how it works? And picks it up.]
I can't be here. I have things to do, people depending on me! [Kind of.] There's a war and-
I need to get back to my friends! They need me!
[action]
[He wanders because of course he does. Khadgar has found himself in a strange place, subject to the whims of whoever or whatever was responsible for his and everyone else being there. He wanted to know whatever he can, carefully keeping a couple spells at the edge of his thoughts in case someone tries to attack him.
Eventually he stops to take in the view of the stars, somehow looking much younger than he really is as he looks out. And suddenly feeling very small.]

Re: [ video ]
No one is that important in a war. And people who end up thinking that way get killed.
[ video ]
We all make one!
'Sides, I'd be dead if my dad didn't save me before... That makes him special. Everyone's special, and if you forget that, you really lose even if you win. You do!
Re: [ video ]
[ Preferably not her. She's already uneasy. ]
[ video ]
... You're a adult.
Re: [ video ]
[ video ]
[The sass is strong, it comes from his adoptive mom, alright.]
Maybe you have stuff kids should explain to you, too.
Re: [ video ]
And considering your "explanations", I'm starting to think I'm better off.
[ video ]
[He folds his arms.]
Do you got lots of friends? You talk like someone who doesn't got a whole lot.
[blunt and to the point, just like his good ol' not!dad
... only there's a conniving glint in his eye
HE'S PLOTTING]
Re: [ video ]
[ And that's a worrying glint, but Cara doesn't lie. ]
And I don't need friends.
[ video ]
I kinda think... you prob'ly do.
It's okay. You sound like a okay person, even if you're grumpy. So I'll be a friend!
Re: [ video ]
I believe I very clearly stated I don't need friends.
[ video ]
Why not? It's easier to be happy when you got friends.
Re: [ video ]
[ video ]
I wouldn't be strong even a little if I didn't have friends t'fight for!
[He'd be dead, actually. He was only four when he started fighting; he was scared and alone and he cried so, so much. But his friends always looked out for him. And now he'll look out for them. That's what matters...! He's sad she doesn't have that.]
Re: [ video ]
[ Cara is broken. It's tied into her, even when it doesn't completely define her. She's made improvements, changed a fair bit of her thinking but even she cannot remove that intrinsic part of her: the Mord'Sith ]
And I never said I was alone.
[ video ]
[He cocks his head to the side.]
Then you got friends?
Re: [ video ]
[ Calling them family to a stranger is too close and personal for her. ]
[ video ]
You fight harder, live better, when you have friends. People you care about. Otherwise, who cares if you live or die after a battle, right?
Whether anyone admits it or not, there's always someone they care about.
Re: [ video ]
No one will mourn me.
[ video ]
Re: [ video ]
[ video ]
I think you got people to mourn you if you love them enough to protect them!
If you don't I can do it for you...! I like you better alive, though.
Re: [ video ]
[ Because it's a waste of time. Cara doesn't even like crying ]
[ video ]
You're being silly.
Re: [ video ]
It is different for normal people. You all have . . . a lot of feelings.
[ And it's gross, seriously. ]
But I'd prefer my death to be a hallmark of my deeds rather than a loss.
