You know, the swimming test for witches was the the stupidest thing I've ever heard growing up. Frenzied morons would basically throw a suspected witch in a lake and if she floated, she was a witch. And if she sank like a stone, she wasn't. But what is the person if they doggy paddle in a mad panic? A witch who didn't learn to swim?

[There's a heavy humor in his voice, the kind one picks up with regards to death, to dark humor, and if there were such a thing as a verbal eyeroll, it'd be here.]

But this place! Fascinating to see so many of you open about your supernatural talents. Your unholy inhumaness, should you self-subscribe to such a dark description. As someone from such a boring, uneventful world, I'm just excited at the idea of a ghost on a roadside; no, we're pretty boring in hindsight, compared to you lot. [Kai's ears are pointy, and his eyes are a deep purple. When he smiles, there's a glint of fangs. Sure, he could have stuck with voice here, but there's not much a point for that.]

Hmm? No, of course not. I find that people are too narrow-minded; a world that is solely human is far more uneventful and dull, don't you think?

[Granted Garrett is by no means against humanity; he's fought long and hard to help people earn their freedoms, and though he feeds, he does so knowing just how weighty his actions are. He'll burn in the fires of Hell, that much he's certain.]

I tend to get more insults than jokes, and those don't need to be cultured. But there will always be wars over differences, maybe having different species just makes things easier on that front.
