Action: Marsiva if you're new too!
When: Now until he gets shuffled like the deck of cards he is! (What?)
Hi. So, this is not what I was expecting today. [He was expecting some additional rest and recovery after the last few days. Instead, he feels mysteriously good as new.] I'd just heard some great things about Netflix, and I was looking forward to chilling with it. [Someone may have missed giving him the full explanation and context of that phrase. Ooooor maybe they didn't.]
I am getting tired of being the one who always gets abducted. Winn and Alex could take turns too. Just saying.
[A soft sigh. He's staying in pretty good spirits despite everything, but he's wondering if this is doing him any good.] Is anyone even listening to this?
[And just in case someone is.] My name is Mon-El.
[Oh, wait.]
Mike!
I meant Mike. [Almost definitely no one noticed that. It was very smooth. He'll just turn this off now.]

Video;
Crash landed. Still trying to figure Earth out. There are a lot of...customs.
Re: Video;
Yeah, all the history books say that the twenty-first century was... interesting.
For the record, you probably don't have to be so dodgy about your identity here. All of us are from different time lines and worlds.

Re: Video;
Earth Year 2265.
So yeah, a bit more.
[ There's a small laugh to put the other at ease. ]
Video;
Re: Video;
Heh, trust me, I am too. There were some tight spots here and there. Though I haven't been to Earth in awhile, but I was getting comms before I came here so reasonably sure it's still fine.
Video;
Re: Video;
[ More amused chuckles. ]
Quite a bit, yeah.
I explore uncharted space, looking for new planets, species, etc - that sort of thing.
Where did you come from? I would take guesses but I don't think any of the planets I know are, well, potentially there in your world.
Video;
So, Earth is the same but everything else is different? [Well, not the same, but still a place named Earth.]
Re: Video;
[ Nope, that one is hard to let go. ]
Daxam?
[ Just that question, though he will address your other question too. ]
Possibly. It's hard to tell with Earths that haven't achieved space travel.
Video;
Re: Video;
[ Oh. Well, not hard to connect some more dots and figure where that is going then. ]
If you're a Daxian on Earth, are you like their Supergirl and Superman? A super hero?
[ Because for whatever reason that seems to be a thing on that version of Earth. ]
Video;
Re: Video;
Daxamite - sorry about that.
Heh, I don't think it's for everyone. How were you liking Earth?
[ It's kind of a moot point, but since most people here do seem to be from a type of Earth, including himself, it could be helpful in helping this guy navigate everyone. ]
Video;
It's different. [It's not home, but it was getting there. And now he's here.]
Re: Video;
Ah, so do you have that whole "there's a yellow sun" type of radiation absorption genetic quirk?
[ Which has always seemed strange to him but he can't argue with obvious results. ]
Well, if there's anything you don't get here you can always call me up. My name's Jim Kirk by the way - captain of the Tourist.
Are you still on the Marsiva? I can give you a tour of the Fleet when you get off, help settle in.
Video;
[He nods.] A tour would be great. [He's a little less sure about settling in but what is he going to do about it that Kara couldn't?] Someone said I might be on the Marsiva for a week? How many ships are there?
Re: Video;
Makes it sounds like you guys didn't get along.
[ Which is interesting, because Kara is a Kryptonian, no? ]
Yes, that's right. Every seven days Atroma cycles out any new people onto one of about a half-dozen or so ships we have where you'll find your berth, and there's also the Iskaulit, which is the communal ship I guess you could say. So for the moment you just have to hang tight - enjoy the leg room.
Video;
[Indeed! Listen to her unfairly judge him because of his home world! Get your crew in line, Kirk!]
The Iskaulit is the one with the bar. [He's been taking notes. Bar notes.] Are the other ships crowded?
Re: Video;
[ He has heard. Goodness, Kara, his opinion of you has gone down some, and it wasn't as high as some other people's to begin with. ]
Hah, yes, Iskaulit has the bars.
And I wouldn't call them crowded so much as being short on open communal spaces. They're definitely more geared towards living space.
Video;
So there's nowhere to...commune? Other than the Iskaulit. Am I taking all the surprise out of the coming tour with these questions?
Re: Video;
Not really. You can commune on other ships - there's room for people, but the Iskaulit is definitely bigger and has more Fleet communal space versus ship communal space, if that makes sense. It has things like the bar, the library, an interfaith area, a park of sorts - that sort of thing.

Re: Video;
There's a bar on the Marsiva, I believe. I'm sure you can entertain yourself there until you're assigned a ship.
