[Arthur hadn't actually been awake the last time he'd appeared on one of these ships, but at least there'd been a bit of forewarning this time. Still, he was left blinking with surprise at the fluttering confetti as he appeared on the bridge of, apparently, his new ship.]

[Brushes the confetti off of his clothes, getting a good look around before looking back at the man. Well, there's a cheery greeting. Does like how much he's been hearing that accent here though.]

Obviously not. Maybe this time they'll give a bloke time to settle in before moving me off to wherever next.

However, in this case, I was referring to the ship I was brought to just prior to this one.

Well that's one I haven't heard before. I don't think Italian jails or Spanish ships really compare much.

Really. She fed on our emotions- she was was right little cow, really. Made drama all the time for us to deal with- better emotional payout, I suppose. At least here we're just left to create our own for the most part. A little less celestial prodding.

Well, that's a good thing. People drama, I'm used to working with. Supernatural drama, now that's another story. It's been a while since I've dealt with much of that.

Well, for the large part we don't get a lot of that. Us supernaturally inclined beings tend to keep to ourselves for the most part.

Heh. I can't say I've ever been very good at doing that. Not really in my nature.

I prefer humans, myself. Entertaining lot, them.

I'm trying to place you. I think I've met you before, but I've been in another place like this for years- so it's honestly hard to keep track.

Sorry, I don't recall anything of the sort so I doubt I'd be able to help you there. Bit strange to think of not having met someone who may have met me.

I figured, it's always about fifty-fifty if people remember being in other places or not. Buuut I'd get used to that strange feeling if I were you. Chances are someone here really did know you somewhere.

Well if there's some alternate version of me going around, he'd better have been behaving himself. I'd hate to have my good reputation ruined by some ill-behaved doppelganger.

Nah, you should be good. I usually remember the troublemakers a little better. They're usually much more worth remembering. More fun, you know?

I'm not sure if being so easily forgotten is a good thing or a bad thing, in that case. Well, easiest to start over then.

I would say so, yes. I don't have the energy to ram burning ships into Spanish galleons anymore, for one. Pity.

Never officially, but I've been captain of a few ships here and there.
