[ Jayden is NOT HAPPY when she wakes up. At all. And after long enough of frantically searching every inch of the room she's in, and seeing no sign of any of her things, she's all the more pissed off! So she very, very quickly figures out her communication device, switches it on, and glares daggers into the feed. Hoo boy howdy, is she pissed... ]

Later, anyone else also on the Marsiva might bump into her in the main room, though she'll be quite pissy about the whole situation. ... She might also be stuffing her face with some of that buffet food. Don't judge. ]

[ Poof!! Jayden appears on the Pathstone, there's a flurry of confetti, and... ... is that pudding? She'll take some of that thank you very much~

She's wandering the ship, trying to figure out 1) where she's supposed to be right now, 2) who else is around, and 3) if she's going to get any more answers about... well, anything at all. So, would anyone care to help show her around? Don't mind the stern look on her face too much. It... it just does that. ]

[looks at her over his comm with a sniff.] My weapons are missing also. They likely confiscated anything like that when we were first brought here.

I see. Figures.

[ Confirmation that this guy had weapons and can theoretically therefore fight is good, though. She nods at the comm in his hands. ]

Anything on those worth mentioning?

Not really. Obviously these will be monitored, considering how we got them, so I don't expect to find a lot that's useful. [there's an element of discussing things without care simply because of logistics and how unrealistic it is to think their captors are unaware of their upset, but he's not expecting to see any escape plans or vital information on here.]

Maybe they're hoping for stockholm syndrome. We're not in jail cells, after all.

[ She rolls her eyes at the thought. Giving up (slightly, for now) on an answer from the comm about her Ghost, she sits back down on the edge of her bunk, arms crossed. ]

Take it you're not a Guardian. Who are you?

Aizawa. No idea what a Guardian is, and you're not likely to find a ton of people who do. [he pulls up a particular post and tosses his comm to her.] Looks like we're from all over.

[stormfist]

[ She catches the comm, quickly skims through the post... twitches a bit when she spots something about tracking... and sighs before tossing it back. ]

So we are. And now we're on some stupid show for the galaxies to watch. Great. Hope the season finale is us knocking their skulls in.

[expellerhead]

[catches and resumes scrolling with a snort.] Ideally.

[glances up at her again.] And your name?

[ She looks to her own comm, and... still no actual help with the Ghost thing. Figures. ]

... You see that part in there about us not really being "missing" back home? That make sense to you?

Not even a little. [he leans forward, setting his comm aside for now to draw up a knee and give her his full attention.] Of course, that's the kind of information I'd spread if I'd kidnapped a bunch of people and wanted to discourage insurrection.

Yeah. Get people thinking that if it's possible for them to drag us out here, it's possible for them to, what, stop time? Right.

Removing that sense of urgency will kill half the motivation it takes to stage a rebellion, after all.

[if people aren't worried about their home, then they'll take their time. nit that aizawa thinks jumping right into armed resistance from the getgo is a good idea anyway]

[ As much as Jayden is pretty much perpetually itching for a fight, she agrees -going right into this with guns blazing is a bad idea. ... Especially since, you know, no weapons. ]

I'm sure all these nice amenities quell another fraction of it for some people. [ Such sarcasm wow. ] Shit, if they think I'm not coming after them first chance I get...

Well, they did take our weapons. And your Ghost. [still unclear on what that is, but whatever.] So I imagine they've got some idea of how you feel.

Right. ... Fuckers.

[ And just to vent a tiny bit of her frustration, she kicks the edge of her bed-thingy. It squeaks a bit. ... It's marginally satisfying. Huff huff. ]

... Sorry. Just. Hate this whole thing.

[holds up his hands. you won't hear a peep out of him about it.]

Regardless, it looks like we can't leave this ship until we get 'reassigned.' Then we'll be trapped to a series of vessels, instead of just the one.

Thought I read that, yeah. Bunch of crews, working together, I guess. And implants...

[ She reaches up with one hand, trying to feel for it in her hairline. ]

Gonna have to see if anyone's tried to remove it yet. Seriously doubt no one else has thought of it.

I'm sure someone has.

I'm also sure there's some sort of failsafe to prevent anyone from living through its removal. [that's what he'd do, anyway. if he were kidnapping scum.]

Detonation, neurotoxin injection... shit. Yeah, I could see it.

[ Bit gruesome, but yeah, not outside the realm of possibility. ]

Might be another reason why they took my Ghost. Can't kill a Guardian unless you get rid of the Ghost. We just come back.
