Welcome to my one-year anniversary. [Pause as she realizes maybe she should clarify that. Not a relationship thing.] Of being with the Fleet. Feels like it should come with a badge of some kind. Who hands those out? We're in a special club now, right? Secret handshake? Extra meal portions?

Anyway, I figured it was maybe time to try something different. So... Raise your hand if you'd be interested in attending a dance class if I taught one. And by raise your hand I mean call me back. I don't have surveillance set up in all the rooms yet. [She's kidding. She's probably kidding.] If anyone is in I'll set up a room for it on the Iskaulit. [Or maybe find the secret studio the previous Natasha had.]

[Kitty is poking around some of the empty spaces on the Iskaulit, but she might pop into some of the more established establishments too while she's there.]

I mean, it's always good to have external verification for reality.

I woke up just a little while ago... Just finished up eating and powering up. And to be honest, I'm not sure a party would be celebrating the right things, you know? Like, woohoo, we're still captive.

Oh, it's definitely dicey at best, but if there's dancing I'm usually there regardless of the reason. But after throwing Thanksgiving and Winn's birthday I'm all party planning'd out anyway.

But welcome back. Winn knows, right?

Well, it hurts a little, but I suppose I understand. [Never would have expected differently and would have felt bad for Winn if it had been anyone else even herself.]

Oh yeah. Tons. Still trying to work through all of them, really.

Yeah? How long has it been? [It's not a trap. Winn has called her by now happily and there were no new Winn girlfriends as of Mon-El's arrival, so she isn't really worrying about it at the moment.]

Mostly big stuff. I won't say there weren't times where there was scary stuff but so far so good on getting through those.

They moved along... right back to being friends. We're much better that way, and I have so much going on in my life... he has his own stuff... So, yeah.

Oh! Well, that...is less awkward for being here?

That counts as a bright side, right?

It does, I think. I still miss him; he'd be a great person to have here. But you know when you want something really bad, but when you're actually given the opportunity, you realize it wasn't really what you needed? It's like that.

[She thinks about that for a second and can't actually think of an example where that's happened in her life, but probably? It must have. Not with a person maybe but with something? She understands the concept at least.]

Well, I'm glad things are working out however they need to work out. [And the price for most vague and non-committal goes to...]

You missed the hoverboards. [Those would definitely be a bit draw for someone who can fly, right?]

We were just at a station with bulk sales, repair work, and hoverboards. And as much as I love buying in bulk I did find the hoverboard part slightly more exciting.

Did you have fun with them?

I did. Walking on the air is a nice skill to have, but it doesn't go that fast. [At best she can run through the air.] Hoverboards are more of a rush.

So were these Back to the Future style hoverboards, or more like the wheeled "hoverboards"?
