[The fleet, more or less patched up after their battle, has once again left civilization behind for empty space. Maybe it's a good time to distract yourself and get away from the endless repairs and nothingness, though there might still be cleaning up that needs to be done here too.

Whether you're grabbing a broom or grabbing a drink, this is a fleetwide mingle for the Iskaulit.]

[After all the excitement of the attack on the fleet it takes awhile for Gemini to come down off the high and boredom to begin to gnaw at her again, and when it does she makes her way to the Iskaulit bar appearing blonde and gorgeous, looking for someone she can amuse herself with by manipulating, and when she spots Kaidan she immediately smiles. Gemini hasn't seen him since their encounter on the ice planet, one where she'd killed most of his companions and left him to perish in an ice storm.

But apparently he hadn't, which she appreciates, survival of the fittest and all that, so perhaps it's time to 'renew' their acquaintance. She wanders over and asks with a sweet smile.]

Hey, can I join you?

[Kaidan answers the smile with one of his own, being both polite and a red-blooded man in most respects when it came to very pretty women asking to sit next to him]

I wouldn't mind at all. [He gestures to the empty barstool] Nice to have some company.

[stretchy_girl]

[Gemini's smile widens at his response and she settles herself down on the stool next to him, crossing her legs elegantly as she glances at the bar, weighing what not to drink before looking back to Kaidan.]

Being alone is never nice is it? Will you buy me a drink?

[There's a very distinct downward glace at the motion of her legs that he does his best to cover up with a startled, raspy laugh]

You don't beat around the bush, do you? But..alright...what are you having?

[stretchy_girl]

[She notices but doesn't comment, although she does lean closer, hoping to get Kaidan a little hot and bothered just to further mess with his mind.]

Why should I? This isn't the first time we've met after all. [She gives him a coy little smile.] I'll have whatever you're having.

[bi_otic]

[He gives her a confused look, trying to place the unfamiliar woman. After a beat, he signals to the bartender]

Two beers.

[His attention refocuses on her, clearly still doing a mental search]

Funny, I'm pretty sure I'd remember any beautiful woman that bothered to talk to me.

[Smooth]

[Oh Gemini loves that confusion, and while she's currently giving him a sultry look it's a struggle not to outright laugh.]

We didn't really get to talk, but I guess you could say we shared a unique moment.

[That confuses deepens considerably after that statement]

Define...unique. Because...I'm pretty sure I didn't get that drunk on new years or any time after that.

[Two foaming glasses slide into place next to them, and Kaidan reaches for his without looking]

Let me refresh your memory Kaidan.

[He hasn't told her his name, but after what happened Gemini made sure to find out. She slides her stool closer to his, ignoring the drinks, leaning in so that she can murmur right into his ear.]

Back on Ikke, the screams, the blood, was it as good for you as it was for me?

[bi_otic]

[Kaidan stiffens immediately, hand clenching around the glass as, internally, he sees red.]

You. [His voice is a harsh whisper] That was you?

[stretchy_girl]

[Gemini feels him stiffen and laughs darkly, her tongue flicking out to lick his ear.]

All me. [She confirms, smirking.]Aren't you just so very lucky to still be alive?

[bi_otic]

Get away from me.

[There's that now-familiar low pulse of energy in the air, the dark energy rippling over his body for a moment before he reaches out and shoves her away. Not violent, just enough to distance himself from her. It takes everything not to throw her at the same time, but he has to make sense of this. Has to be certain.]

What's lucky about it? Those were good men. Honest men...who were only trying to make a living, and you killed them. Why?

[Gemini stumbles back at the shove, fear creeping into her body language for the consumption of everyone else at the bar, whilst the blonde hair framing her false face hides a taunting licking of her lips. It's plain that she's enjoying his anger.]

They made a living killing things, what goes around comes around don't you agree?

[There's not even the slightest hint of remorse in her borrowed voice, as she shrugs slightly.]

Where are your manners Kaidan? You're making a scene.

[bi_otic]

[Kaidan's fists are clenched, his posture stiff and angry but deadly still for the moment. Dark energy flickers around his fingers but hums almost softly.]

They were hunters. They were providing for themselves. Protecting their people and their families. It wasn't pointless. But it was...fun for you. Wasn't it?

[stretchy_girl]

[There's an almost taunting edge to Gemini's smile, as if she's daring him to do to something reckless by deliberately toying with him.]

Mmm pretty much. Tell me, did you think you were going to die? Did the fear choke you, or were you too busy trying and failing to protect them?

[Reckless is not a word easily ascribed to Kaidan. It's not the kind of thing a man with power can be and look himself in the mirror later. Or maybe that's just him. Still, it would be therapeutic to shoot her right now but he knows it won't do much. His frustration with her is visible in the deep swallow he takes before speaking]

It wouldn't be the first time. So why not try again?

[His frustration only made her smile widen, and she pouts mockingly in reply before answering him.]

Try again to kill you? Well I could, but I'm really not in the mood.
