Of course. But there's no real way to avoid that either. Sometimes that foot is going to fit in that mouth. If we all knew what to say and when . . . well, life would be perfect.

[ He shrugs loosely. Charles is no longer afraid of speaking. He can own up to it, apologize from it, learn from it. If other people choose to do otherwise, he knows it's not on him. ]

[ when he talks to people like tyrion, winn never really knows what he's doing, where he stands, what's a joke and what's a legitimate threat. he can listen to margaery and comfort her pretty competently. but then with others he's never sure what to say, how to react, he gets anxious, and he's pretty sure that doesn't help anyone. it's a complicated world to navigate through, and sometimes..sometimes he feels like psychology should've been mandatory in college.

[ Charles is less bothered by it, though he prefers more plain speech. He has no problems retracting, relearning. He speaks for himself before he speaks for the sake of anyone else because that's not his choice to make, it's theirs.

He misses Wrath. He misses the fact that the people who let him in, who allowed him to exist in their space as himself. Anakin's words continue to ring in his mind. Wrath was an exception. And there are only so many of those. ]

What kind of card games do you know?

[ winn's first concern is usually reserved to someone else. and after he so spectacularly screwed up with robb, he's even less comfortable talking about worlds like westeros. ]

Poker, Rummy, Crazy 8s, Uno - it's a challenge with a regular deck but it can be done, go fish?

I don't have that many. It's mostly chess or poker. I always had a large estate so I didn't stay indoors a lot except to read.
