[The last few days Nami's been feeling progressively more drained, which is annoying, but these glitches tend to follow right on the end of overworking herself anyway, so she doesn't quite notice. Until today, when she quite literally falls asleep for a few seconds and ends up faceplanting on the shoulder of the complete stranger she's buying a bunch of bar alcohol from.

Awkward.

Then half an hour later when she's loading up the shuttle, one can find her literally sleeping on top of a couple of barrels. Maybe she should get someone to help fly her to the Iskaulit, because that seems less awkward and more stupid... okay, so something's up, she's either coming down with something or she's glitching and she'll just get her supplies back to the bar and (zzzz)--

...what was she doing? Oh, right.

Yeah, if you're anywhere nearby she might flag you down to fly her back, because death by faceplanting the shuttle somewhere would be just plain embarrassing.

Whether by miracle or responsible supervision she makes it to the Iskaulit eventually, feet dragging and yawning, and manages to square away new supplies and give the bar staff a heads up.] This stuff's pretty strong. [...well. That could be a fancy alien word. Or it could just be that she fell asleep while typing. She'll be back after this nap. Or after someone yells in her ear or... something.

After this, she'll ping the Bloodsport with a message to come get her and go sleep in the garden until someone wakes her up.]

Now that I think about it? Probably a couple days ago. [Yawn. She tries not to trip over her own feet.] But this is the first day I've had so much trouble staying awake.

How long do they usually last? [He does her best to keep her moving smoothly. He'll reach out to hold her fully if she starts to fall.]

The last one I had was a couple weeks. I haven't heard of any longer than that. Some only last a -- [yaaaawn] --day.

[This is gonna be a long day. She has a lot to get done. Mostly she can carry herself, she just sort of uses him as a guideline for where up is.]

Oh, hey, did you want to take your shuttle or my shuttle?

[That is a good point someone's gonna strand a shuttle or be stranded or--

She doesn't have the brain to think on this. That's literally her response. Confused sounds and yawning.] I don't know. Whichever's...good?

Mine is right there. [They can figure out logistic details later. He figures it's close and this way she doesn't have to find hers.] Let's just get you inside and then I'll bring those barrels.

Done. [She sounds relieved. Right there means she can sit there and-- okay let's be real, she's probably gonna doze off the second he leaves here there for ten seconds.] Sorry. I'm usually a little more alive than this.

[He helps her inside to a seat.] Hey, you can't help it and I've been helped while drunk before. I'll be right back. [Just passing it on. But if you fall asleep you're going to miss him carrying the barrels like they're nothing.]

[Very sorry, she is gonna just start snoring right here. He'll have to impress her at the other end of this voyage. Hzzzz.

Nami? Nami? [Mon-El is standing over her and not quite to the poking stage yet, but they are in the shuttle. It's just that the shuttle is now on the Iskaulit.]

[She cracks an open after a moment. Nami. S'me.] Sorry. We need to leave?

[Yawn.]

Unless you want to just keep sleeping on my shuttle. [He lifts up those barrels now.] And show me where these go. [He knows the bar, just not where in the bar.]

...huh. [She knows strong people-- Zoro throws houses around for cryin' out loud, the monster-- but Mon-El doesn't look the type. She blinks. Convenient.]

...yeah. Yeah, I can do that. Hold on.

[In which she jumps out with all the grace of a drunken baby gazelle. Well, at least she doesn't faceplant.]

You can still hold on if you want. [But maybe one trip this time if she can make it.]

I would wonder about your juggling ability, but you don't seem to have much trouble with that -- those barrels. [Maybe just s steadying latch on to his sleeve or something. It's easy to walk when half asleep when your brain knows which way's up.]

They heavy at all...?

Not really. At least not with powers. [Way too heavy for normal him to do this, but it's hard for him to tell when he isn't at his normal setting.]

[namisan]

Ah. [More 'powers' people. It's interesting what people define their skills as. Powers or magic or devil fruits. All seem to amount to the same thing, but it kinda shows where they might be from.]

Well, it's handy for me to have a guy with powers around, that's for sure. Lugging these would have taken work even if I was wide awake.

Not unless you're very bored. [She assumes he's joking, but--] This does help a lot, though.

If you're that bored I'm often on the lookout for relief staff. Though now's probably not the best time to discuss it. [I can't give interviews if I snore halfway through.]
