Ha, ha, ha! I don't mean to alarm anybody, but I bought myself one of those spiffy augment upgrades. I picked fire, because who doesn't want to be red hot, am I right? But, enhh... [He holds up his left palm, which has a small but persistent flame on the center.] I can't seem to turn it off. Does anybody here have experience with fire powers? And should it really be this powerful when I've only bought the first level...?

It's sort of like a taxi service back home. You can call for someone to come and give you a ride someplace.

Except Uber has an app. In a big place like New York City, getting an Uber is a lot better than trying to hail a cab.

But it's basically a taxi you can call through a program?

Ubers are people driving their own vehicles, while cabs are just... cabs. ... I'm not making much sense, am I?

No, not really. Driving their cars or yellow cars, just all sounds like taxis to me.

Either way, it's a handy way to get about town. Especially when you're drunk. Not like I get that way very often, you understand.

I mostly do so in the comfort of my own home nowadays. My fiancee and I do love our vino. I even have a novelty glass that holds a whole bottle of wine.

Hey, I wrote in a bar a lot when I was in college. Something about the atmosphere got the creative juices going.
