Hello, everyone, I have a very important announcement. Kara and I are together! It's amazing and better than I could have imagined and you should all celebrate with us at the Space Bar today. The first round is on me! Oh, and I am Mon-El if we haven't met. Hello. [Just beaming.]

[This is him keeping it low key. He did manage to wait an entire 13 days before making a mass announcement at least? He was telling people on the side already though.]

Well, you're a big strong guy, I'm sure you'll manage. If it's just impulsiveness it's probably okay.

I hope so. [He has a good thing going and he would like it to keep going.] You know, we never talked again about me working here. Do you remember that or were you too sleepy?

No, I remember. I wasn't sure how serious we were being at the time. [Grin.] You really that bored? Think you can get along with the staff we already have?

[She might have noticed Fenris being a little cold today.]

There is some bored. There is some wishing to have additional income and some thinking Kara would approve more if I was employed. [It was something she wanted for him when he was on Earth at least.]

Okay, well the people that cover front bar are Fenris, Raven, Sam and me. And then there's Vash and Jarvis in the kitchen. How many of them have you met?

Just you, Raven, and Mr. Pleasant.

Fenris and I have been here since the very start. You'll probably want to get along with him. [She ain't hirin anyone Fenris can't stand.]

What I mean is that I have been. I can't control what he does. If you think it's a problem I can just see if the other bar wants me.

[She rolls one shoulder in an easy shrug.] Crowley could probably use a bartender too, so if that's what you want to do, that's your call. What was he mad about, exactly?

[Maybe she can work out if it is going to be a problem. Fenris does tend to grumpiness. But either way, if he wants to go elsewhere she's not going to fuss. Especially given that phrasing.]

That I'm dating Kara I think? [Not even entirely sure.]

That's what I thought. I don't think he's mad that you're dating her. I think he's mad that you were so unsubtle about it.

I am very excited and proud of dating Kara. And she has proven many times she can beat me up if she doesn't like something I do.

[namisan]

[When he puts it like that, she can't help but grin a little. Sounds a little like the attitude of someone else she knows. Or knew.]

Well, sometimes it's good to avoid getting beaten up in the first place.

Sometimes, but she's also been training me, so she throws me into walls regularly.

[Snrk. Welp. Kara can definitely look after herself, then.]

And you're pretty strong already. You guys are from the same place, right?

We're from very different planets in the same galaxy. We knew each other before we came here.

[namisan]

So you guys were also spacefarers before this, huh.

[spacebro]

I traveled some. I don't think she'd left Earth for many years though.

[namisan]

And here's my world that everyone thinks is so far behind. The only person who ever tried to leave planet was a megalomaniacal madman with a god complex.

[spacebro]

Maybe your planet was just too nice to ever want to leave. [He gives her a soft smile. The state of Daxam was definitely a reason for him to want to visit other worlds.]

[namisan]

[She grins appreciatively at the response, but shakes her head.]

I love my world, true. But at heart, so many of us are explorers. If we had the knowhow to go and explore the stars, I bet we would have. We're just not there yet.

Maybe someday soon. And if not then you got some travel with the fleet even if it wasn't exactly voluntary.
