Hello, everyone, I have a very important announcement. Kara and I are together! It's amazing and better than I could have imagined and you should all celebrate with us at the Space Bar today. The first round is on me! Oh, and I am Mon-El if we haven't met. Hello. [Just beaming.]

[This is him keeping it low key. He did manage to wait an entire 13 days before making a mass announcement at least? He was telling people on the side already though.]

[Sure, but when lasers only hurt your clothes it's hard not to be a little more down on bullets that don't bounce off.] I don't know. Kara looks very cool when she catches them.

She could also not catch them and it wouldn't make much of a difference.

Did she tell you this or have you been shooting at her? [Faux suspicious.]

She hasn't done anything to deserve it yet.

So I hear. And I think probably she won't do too many things that tempt me to shoot her in general.

I would be surprised if she did. You've probably heard this, but she's a hero. [Little smile. He's teasing but also proud of her.]

I have heard that a time or two. And everyone seems very taken with her.

Must be a lot easier when you're bulletproof.

You aren't jealous are you?

Luckily, I'm not the jealous type.

So now that the two of you are out with this relationship, does that mean you're up for doing things as a couple?

What did you have in mind? [The sex and cuddling times are already very couple like.]

I don't know. Maybe double dates? You and Kara might be a good example for Steve and Peggy.

You want us to go on a double date, but not with you and someone else? [He just looks amused.] Why would we be a good example for them?

I don't have anyone to go on a double date with.

[But as for why. Mostly because it's funny, but also...]

Let's say they're pretty slow moving. And while I'd hate to rush them... I think some of it's a matter of not being very good at relationships.
