Oh, I was thinking it was the 13th, so when he asked me to dinner to catch up and compare memory notes, I totally wasn't thinking it was, you know, a Valentine's Day thing. But then it ended up being that and it was pretty fun.

I bet it was. If there's something I can believe Mon-El is up for, it's having fun.

He had this whole elaborate date plan. I definitely wouldn't have expected it from him, but it was actually very thoughtful.

Well, he had called ahead to the restaurant so we'd have a table and some music, then we ordered and danced a bit... He got me a necklace and a card, and we got dessert.

When I say it like that, it seems cliche. But it was really very sweet for a guy who had just learned about Valentine's.

It's Valentine's Day. If there's one day you're allowed to be cliche, that's probably it.
