Have you ever seen a lady wearing ungodly amounts of purple? No? Well, you are now and that outfit can only be said to be designed by emo teenagers-- but at least she got rid of the most offensive items a long time ago. Though she doesn't seem to really care about that, but she does look pretty well annoyed. And for good reason.]

Very funny.

[It's not said directly to the communicator because, if there's one thing you learn after a while in her life: When people suddenly kidnap you somewhere they're usually not far away to laugh at you as you panic. This went for what she remembered of her old life and just about everything that happened in the Black Woods. It's really difficult to panic under those circumstances. You just get angry instead.]

I swear if you touched those kids I will find you. Don't think I won't.

[Because she'd been looking for them what little time she was on the Marivsa because usually in situations like this... Well, she was trying not to think about it but being shuffled no more than 24 hours later does not do for one's ire. But that's all she says for the moment.]

How's it going for you guys? There's the new lady around now, at least, but maybe that's not very helpful. Since she's kind of not all there-- but for different reasons than probably expected. You're not trying to take your augments out again, are you?

It seems you might have some to catch up on for now. Or maybe you just want to stop the new lady from looking through the food supplies. Because that's a thing, too.]

[ Long pause. Chris was going to say something after he turned the comm on, but it's Aunt Piper. How is this happening right now? ]

Piper?

[ You were probably expecting her to respond to that name, weren't you? But instead when she looks to the communicator her brows knit in that familiar way. He looks familiar-- there were memories with him in it. And a 'P' name but, well, she sort of just winces and looks more in disbelief. ]

Is that supposed to be me?

[Oh hey, looks like it's somebody new, time to troll with Belthazor again--wait. He knows that voice. That voice is very familiar and so is that face and nope, he is not going demon on her, he is his very normal human face because that is a Piper and Rule One of Dealing With Piper is "do not do things that will make her want to blow you up when you are not invulnerable." He has learned that rule very well and Piper trying to blow him up hurts.]

...Piper? What kids are you talking about?

[ His immediate reaction is simply dammit Paige before he realizes that's not what's happening here. It can't be. ]

Uh. Yeah. You're Piper. Piper Halliwell, oldest sister of three? Any of this ringing... any sort of bells?

[ The fun thing about amnesia and getting random pieces of your memory back: You don't really connect Belthazor as Cole and so she's just. Really not sure. Because this is now a second person she vaguely remembers and they're not acting like they have amnesia at all. Or in any team colors so she just folds her arm. She remembers him basically living at the manor the once, so hey, there's not immediate distrust. But she's really skeptical. ]

There's that name again.[ A pause. ]You wouldn't know them, I take it. Amethyst. Long story.

[ It's Paige's fault she devoured the world. She rubs her temple at that. ]

Actually, I remember four sisters. Prue, Phoebe, and Paige. [ But she hasn't gotten the 'Prue dies' yet and tries to avoid thinking about the implications. A lot. ] My name, though? Nah, there's not many bells to ring there.

Right. No, that's... right. It's just—complicated. [ MOVING THE FUCK ON. He narrows his eyes at the screen. ] No bells. Why are there no bells?

[His eyes narrow as he considers things and studies her for a moment. The first thing on his mind? Damn girl, that's a lot of purple.]

Well, it's your name. Unless you're not Piper. Can you blow things up like this? [And he does the hand motion as if that'd help.]

Okay, so not Wyatt, that's good at least. That the reason you're very...purple?

Complicated isn't new. I[ t's said a bit dryly but she isn't quite relaxing yet. Which isn't that far from normal, at least. ] Oh, you know. This isn't the first time something decided to kidnap me in the past few months for entertainment. [ Well, that's not quite right, since world-devouring darkness, but some of the games were just plain stupid. ] Except this time they decided to leave what little memories I had left in tact.

Somebody kidnapped you and erased your memories? For a show?

[ And Chris thought he had it bad here. It's apparently just a Halliwell thing. ]

Wait. If you don't have your memories... right—I'm Chris. You're Piper. We're... friends.

[ It's too much purple that is the travesty of teamnesia. It's okay, she'll ditch it as soon as humanly possible. For now she quirks up the corners of her lips and raises her hands. ]

Well, it sounds more likely than Peregrine, at least. Shall we give it a try?

[ That might be a yes. Since she does know of it and regained it, but she doesn't have much control over it yet again. Which is why she puts her hands down once more. Let's not blow a wall through out of space.

At least there's that familiar flash of concern at the name Wyatt, and then she lets out a breath.

Actually, I think the excuse was more along the lines of your world's been attacked by darkness. Congratulations, you're the reason and now you get to live here until you can fix it.

[ But there's no way you can deny forced mistletoe, being turned into animals, or selfie adventures wasn't for the Personae's amusement. It could be worse, but she pauses. ]

I know who you are. Sort of. We won quite a bit, so I'm not totally empty.[ But what she knows she doesn't elaborate on yet. ][ ]

Darkness? That's original. No, last I saw, the world's just fine.

[ ... in the present, anyway. Not his future. ]

You're telling me. And can you guess what they fight it off with?

[ Only one guess. Let's just hope it stays that way though that scowl definitely doesn't leave. ]

Vaguely. Gonna fill me in, then?

I have a feeling you're about to tell me.

[ He's not even going to guess because that's definitely a trap. ]

I mean... there's not that much to fill in... He's here, that's all. If he wants to tell you more, that's on him.

[ Rude, it's not a trap. She just finds it slightly ridiculous, but raises a brow instead. ]

Then I'll have to see. Saying it like that makes it sound more suspicious.

If it helps, we don't have any reason to believe they interfere in our worlds except to bring people here.

[ What, he is not suspicious! Come on, they were so over this already. ]

[ Strangely, she knows that voice better than the other two voices. Or at least, it's more recently familiar and she glances back at the communicator with a start and... Looks at him, because she can't really deny it even if he's not in that shade of purple. ]

Eclipse? [ A beat. ] How do you get that?

[ A wince. ] Close, actually. There were young girls singing about hope and love on a regular basis.

[ Not anymore, but at least it's less as full-on as that. ]

I didn't say I wouldn't. Only the way you said it made it sound more suspicious, and now pretty defensive.

[ BURY YOUR HOLE DEEPER, CHRIS. ]

[If Cole didn't know Piper was the reasonable sister, he'd actually be somewhat terrified right now, but since he actually knows her, he laughs.]

I think you'd make your crew very upset if you blew a hole in the ship your first day there. Peregrine does at least fit the theme your family seemed to have going. Prue, Phoebe, Paige, Patty, Penny. You'd think you would have run out of names by now.

[There was a look of confusion before things seemed to click into place.]
