Have you ever seen a lady wearing ungodly amounts of purple? No? Well, you are now and that outfit can only be said to be designed by emo teenagers-- but at least she got rid of the most offensive items a long time ago. Though she doesn't seem to really care about that, but she does look pretty well annoyed. And for good reason.]
Very funny.
[It's not said directly to the communicator because, if there's one thing you learn after a while in her life: When people suddenly kidnap you somewhere they're usually not far away to laugh at you as you panic. This went for what she remembered of her old life and just about everything that happened in the Black Woods. It's really difficult to panic under those circumstances. You just get angry instead.]
I swear if you touched those kids I will find you. Don't think I won't.
[Because she'd been looking for them what little time she was on the Marivsa because usually in situations like this... Well, she was trying not to think about it but being shuffled no more than 24 hours later does not do for one's ire. But that's all she says for the moment.]
[MINGLE FOR STARSTRUCK »
How's it going for you guys? There's the new lady around now, at least, but maybe that's not very helpful. Since she's kind of not all there-- but for different reasons than probably expected. You're not trying to take your augments out again, are you?
It seems you might have some to catch up on for now. Or maybe you just want to stop the new lady from looking through the food supplies. Because that's a thing, too.]

video;
Uh. Yeah. You're Piper. Piper Halliwell, oldest sister of three? Any of this ringing... any sort of bells?
video;
Actually, I remember four sisters. Prue, Phoebe, and Paige. [ But she hasn't gotten the 'Prue dies' yet and tries to avoid thinking about the implications. A lot. ] My name, though? Nah, there's not many bells to ring there.
video;
Right. No, that's... right. It's just—complicated. [ MOVING THE FUCK ON. He narrows his eyes at the screen. ] No bells. Why are there no bells?
video;
video forever; i'm lazy.
[ And Chris thought he had it bad here. It's apparently just a Halliwell thing. ]
Wait. If you don't have your memories... right—I'm Chris. You're Piper. We're... friends.
video forever; i'm lazy.
[ But there's no way you can deny forced mistletoe, being turned into animals, or selfie adventures wasn't for the Personae's amusement. It could be worse, but she pauses. ]
I know who you are. Sort of. We won quite a bit, so I'm not totally empty.[ But what she knows she doesn't elaborate on yet. ][ ]
no subject
[ ... in the present, anyway. Not his future. ]
Oh. Saves some trouble. Do you... remember Cole?
no subject
[ Only one guess. Let's just hope it stays that way though that scowl definitely doesn't leave. ]
Vaguely. Gonna fill me in, then?
no subject
[ He's not even going to guess because that's definitely a trap. ]
I mean... there's not that much to fill in... He's here, that's all. If he wants to tell you more, that's on him.
no subject
[ Rude, it's not a trap. She just finds it slightly ridiculous, but raises a brow instead. ]
Then I'll have to see. Saying it like that makes it sound more suspicious.
no subject
[ What, he is not suspicious! Come on, they were so over this already. ]
Hey, it's not suspicious! I'm just not going to go around spilling everything about someone you could talk to yourself.
no subject
[ Not anymore, but at least it's less as full-on as that. ]
I didn't say I wouldn't. Only the way you said it made it sound more suspicious, and now pretty defensive.
[ BURY YOUR HOLE DEEPER, CHRIS. ]
no subject
[ Look, he just doesn't want to break the demon news to Piper. Or barring that she remembers that piece, the nephew news. ]
I don't—fine! Fine! What is it? What do you even want to know?
[ He's digging for China at this rate. ]
no subject
[ He managed it somehow before-- Well, actually, not really, but it's not like she knows. She might have enough to make sense of some things, but honestly there was some things about her life that was difficult to suss out anyway. Why is it she can never get a normal day?
Though she does make an amused face at that. ]
You don't wan to know. There's more important things to worry about right now, interrogations can come later. [ But it's said as jokingly as Piper can get, at least. ]
no subject
[ Yeah, no, he's kind of doomed but at least Piper is the most sensible of the sisters and he's honestly never had much of a problem with her. Nothing specific, anyway. ]
Hey. Okay. I can deal with that. Do you need anything? Maybe... a change in wardrobe?
no subject
[ Since Aather was literally fueled on friendship and love and, well, the were mostly kids there. So let's let them do their things. At least she's more likely to not blow things up or panic just yet, which is helpful. She's the good kind of amnesiac who can get told to sit down over there and she will. Buuut not right now.
Though she does have to wince at that.]
Hah. Yeah, yeah this thing has to go if I'm not going to be stuck wearing these gaudy colors.
no subject
[ Look at that, he's teasing! A bit poorly because he's still thrown off, but hey. ]
About that... I might have an idea. Give me a minute. [ Then the feed clicks off? For like ten minutes before he comes back. ] Okay, sorry. I may something you can wear for now. Can you call for me?
no subject
[ It's said dryly at least and she was going to respond but then he just... Clicked off, well. Okay. What is with all you men and just disappearing when you want. It's not like she doesn't have other things to do right not and so she goes back to rummaging through the kitchen disdainfully until he's back. ]
Wait-- Call?
Oh. I just... say your name, right? [ It's not like she hasn't called Leo a million times or him, but well she's still not exactly sure how it works. But maybe she should try--- ]Chris?
no subject
[ One place had meat but no fanciness another one had fanciness but no drunkenness and the last had drunkenness but no meat and it was all just weird. ]
Right. [ Chris shuts off his communicator when he hears her voice not through the call, but through his magic. He frowns and catches on to it as quickly as possible, follows it all the way to Piper's ship. Because he's awesome, he even manages to shimmer himself outside of the kitchen so there isn't some kind of demon surprise explosion waiting for him. ] Piper? It's Chris.
no subject
[ Look, she has good reason not to trust places like this and dumb games. She's been turned into a cat, won a game via eeny meeny mo, and status effect hangman. To name a few. She just doesn't believe they won't play dumb games if it's in their interests.
She feels rather silly calling him like that. Just because she remembered those kind of things didn't mean she really applied it in her stay in the Black Woods at all. Even when she regained her own magic-- and some unfortunate misdoes-- she didn't really use it. There wasn't much use for stopping time or blowing things up. At least not constantly, so she's not really expecting anything to happen.
But then she hears his voice and moves to peer curiously around the corner. ]
--It worked?
no subject
He sees her and nods in greeting, something of a smile lighting up his expression. ]
Of course it did. It's nice to see you in the flesh. Here— [ He holds out the bundle of clothes. ] I've got someone on my ship about the same size as you, she doesn't mind lending you some stuff 'til you're more... settled.
no subject
...Yeah. She wasn't sure about that, but she does try to smile in kind even if doesn't quite seem like her normal smile. Give her a bit. ]
Hey, how am I supposed to know how magic works in outerspace? [ It's said in her own light way and for a brief moment she hesitates. Then carefully, slowly almost, she takes the bundle of clothes before pulling them to her. She really does doubt blowing a hole in the ship would help anything. ]
Thanks. Um, tell her if she needs anything I can try... Or, you know, she'll definitely have them back when I have more.
no subject
It's the same as back home, apparently. At least, I haven't had any problems like that yet. And—don't worry about it. Seriously. Shirley's fine with it, but I can give you her frequency if it's that big of a deal.
[ He pauses, hesitates, then looks around to make sure there's no more errant broadcasts going on. ] Did you turn your communicator off?
no subject
Yet, so let's not let you get stuck floating in outer space one day. [ It's not like she cares! But then she shakes her head. ] It is a big deal to me. It's not like she has to, so I'd like to repay her.
There. [ She cocks her head at the question and then peers back into the kitchen where she'd left it. ]I think so? I'm pretty sure I did.
no subject
Right, then I'll send you that frequency later and you can thank her or offer a favor or... whatever.
[ Chris peers in too to double-check and is relieved to see that it's off. ] Good, because we kind of need to talk, too. I don't know how much you might remember about magic or being a witch or a Charmed One, but just as a precaution.
