Who: Lumiére and YOU
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: SS Marsiva
When: Right noe
[There are some things a person comes to expect in their life. Of course, magical curses that turn you and your colleagues into inanimate objects tends to move those goalposts a little, but you still expect certain things to remain the way they are.
For instance, if you live in an 18th century castle in the middle of France, you honestly don't expect to be suddenly not in that castle. And you absolutely do not expect to be suddenly in space. You sure don't expect to somehow understand, at least vaguely what space is. These are things Lumiére did not expect to happen to him today, and yet here they are, happening.
But then again, the Flooters probably don't expect to see a sentient candelabra shuffling in front of their screens as he presses his little candle hands to the window, staring out in the blank nothingness. Lumiére has no idea how he got here, he has no idea WHY he's here, but there's one thing he knows for absolute certainty-
Cogsworth is going to KILL him. ]
Zut alors! What is this place?
[He really, genuinely doesn't have time for this. Usually he's a big fan of all kinds of tomfoolery, but he's kind of on a really tight schedule right now and it's really, really not one he can shirk. He needs to get out of...whatever this is and get back. Like. Now. He turns, looking around him in the vast room, hoping for a sign of life.]

Hello? Anyone home?
video;
Excruciatingly boring. And nothing ever gets done that way. I know someone who would do such a thing.
video;
I know a lot of people who'd do that. Pretty sure that's why they're not here, boring people don't end up on reality shows. [ so, there's merit to that plan, too. ]
video;
I don't know. Him hyperventilating about not being in control of everything, and making it run like [he chuckles to himself] clockwork might be interesting to watch.
[Well, Lumiére would enjoy watching it. It'd be fun. ]
He does not like variables.
[He misses you really, Cogsworth. Kisses!!! ]
video;
but he's talking to a man cursed to look like a candelabra. ]
...is he a clock?
video;
He is! A small mantel clock to be exact. Not...originally, of course, but the form suits him well all the same. He is very, very particular about everything being just so. Very tightly wound. Head of the Household, and all that. He's a nightmare.
[His tone is both genuinely fond and mercilessly mocking at the same time. It's that sort of friendship. ]
video;
How many people got cursed? Did you all get personality-appropriate forms? Are you a candelabra because of your...sunny disposition? [ is he being tactless? sorry this is just fascinating. ]
video;
[Which probably explains why he's so tightly wound all the time. ]
Perhaps. It also helps my name literally means 'light', so there is that, too. The head of the kitchens is Mrs. Potts, and she became a tea pot. Her children are tea cups.
video;
[ oh wait, no, what? children are involved? okay this just got so much more unsettling. ]
Why were you cursed? If - it's okay to ask.
video;
[Yup. Children. Lots of them. The Enchantress is literally the worst. ]
It is fine. [He'll omit certain parts out of it because his loyalty to the Beast can never be put to question, but it's still, by and large, the truth.] It was not really me who was cursed. It was the Master of the castle, he...was not as cordial as he could have been and grievously insulted the enchantress in question- not that he knew she was one at the time. He was the one she cursed, we of his household were just made a part of it. Collateral damage, if you will.
[Seriously. Literally the worst. ]
video;
That is...so messed up. I'm sorry, man.
video;
It was not something any of us would have wanted, no. But at least we could still be there for the master. I don't want to think what would have happened to him if he were left alone.
video;
He's lucky to have you. [ it's something a lot of people have been telling him here, that kara's lucky to have him. it always means the world. ]
video;
We know, and we are lucky to have him. Curse aside, he just needs to find his way, that is all. He deserves better than what he got.
video;
I don't think anyone deserves this for being rude.
video;
video;
video;
As would I.
