[The video opens up to show Noctis, looking slightly tousled and very cranky. Sure he can sleep anywhere but that wasn't a reason to have him wake up somewhere he doesn't know!!]

Look - whoever's bright idea this was - it's not funny. If someone wants to point me in the direction of who brought me here I'd appreciate it.

[He does seem awfully in a rush to get back. He's not happy about being here, clearly.]

Otherwise, some other answers would be good right about now.

[Fellow newbies can find him aboard the Marsiva, trying to find a way out of here. He doesn't get very far, but he's still stopping to examine various parts of the newbie accessible side areas of the ship. ]

Well - what is this place? What's with waking up here in some empty airship with no one else here?

[At least he doesn't think there's anyone else here. He's probably going to check once he gets over the groggy feeling.]

Spaceship. You're on the Marsiva.

You'll probably be transferred to a proper ship to be part of the crew within a week. The same thing happened to me when I first arrived.

We can't leave til then? What about other people? Can they come here?

[He at least wants to see Luna, now that he knows she's there.]

Other people can definitely come to you. I don't know about leaving, but I can't see why not.

[ Unless that keeps him from being assigned to a ship? Kai had just waited around, but he hadn't known anyone yet. ]

Huh. Well I guess I'll have to take my chances then, see if I can find a way back or something. Though if no one else has I'd say my chances are pretty slim.

[ Luna hears his voice before she actually sees him, and she can feel her breath catching painfully in her throat as she turns her attention to her communication device. She's not sure what to do at first -- instinct has her wanting to answer immediately, and that sudden desperation that she'd felt at home is right back in action, settling uncomfortably in her gut. A hand rests itself against her chest because honestly? Her heart is trying real hard right now to beat right out of it.

Composure. Composure is one thing she prides herself on, and she wants to make damn sure she's got it back before she answers. After all of her years of public service to the masses, after a lifetime of speaking in front of thousands of people, she's finding that it's both difficult and worrisome to answer this one particular man.

After a few moments, though, she goes for it. The expression on her face betrays how she actually feels, though... years of practice are paying off. For now, at least. ]

You will have to forgive me, Noctis, but I've no idea how you arrived here. I have heard the blame falls upon the Atroma. As to what that actually is... well, I am still attempting to figure that out myself.

[ She's got a real good feeling that he's gong to want answers as to more than just how he got to this place, and already she can feel the anxiety creeping up her spine... ]

....I will at least say this much, though. It is good to see you again, my King.

[Wait. Wait. Is this even real? His first instinct, after everything, is that this is just another one of Ardyn's tricks but this isn't an Imperial ship, unless they've suddenly changed a few things.]

[He stares at her like the lost child he feels like he is.]

Is this the part where I get Imperial troops at my back? Or more of my friends go missing?

[If he knew this was actually Luna he'd definitely be apologizing right now. Instead all she receives is the brunt of his anger.]

This is a joke, right? It has to be. You-you're not real.

[His voice raises slightly, face twisted slightly in anger.]

[ She's definitely regretting making herself known, and for a brief second it shows on her face. But she can't go back now, the only way to go is forward. ]

This is very real, Noctis.

[ It sounds lame enough to her own ears, but what she's aiming for is to keep the prince calm. But his voice is raising considerably, and he doesn't look at all happy... which she cannot honestly say that she blames him.

She swallows hard and glances off to the side, glad that he can't see how her hands are wringing nervously off screen. ]

By the grace of the Gods I have been given a second chance. I... I know not where your friends are, would that I could find them for you.

[ When she looks up again, she flashes him an apologetic look. She really doesn't want to make his mood worse, after all. ]

If you don't believe me, then ask me something only I would know.

[The more she spoke, the more he did actually begin to believe her. That was what scared him the most. There was no way he was dead, and yet he knew she was very much so.]

I don't- I don't even know what I'd ask....

[His expression softens considerably, feeling his chest tighten as he continues to look upon her.]

You're really here. Luna, I- I want to see you. I don't want to talk over these things.

[Walls had kept them apart for twelve years. He didn't want to be apart again. Not when he'd been so close...]

[ Letting out the breath that she didn't realize that she'd been holding as he finally seems to let up a little, she feels her shoulders falling as she, too, relaxes a little more. She's just glad to see that he believes her, and that he doesn't appear to be injured or anything of the sort. Not physically, at least.

She manages a small smile at him finally, because she wants to see him in person, too. Besides, she doesn't know how secure this connection is... but it's just not possible, and so she looks down again. ]

As much as I want to see you, too... I'm afraid that once again I must ask that you be patient. It's impossible for me to get to you so long as you are on that ship.

[ She feels like she's failed him somehow, even though this really isn't her fault. It's just how it is. ]

It... may take a few days until you are able to leave there. I am just glad to see that you are safe.

[He tries his best to force a smile, though truly he felt like doing anything but.]

[The smile slips again as he tries to think through the situation.]

Where are you? What ship are you on? I heard there's different ones from another girl here.

[ Well that's no good. She wants to see a genuine smile from him, but... that may take a while. Her own small smile remains and she shakes her head. ]

No, never... but you'll have to forgive me. I'll always worry about you.

[ His question has her posture straightening again, because this is one she can answer for him with certainty. ]

I am on the SS Blameless. I'm unsure how many there actually are, but yes, there are quite a few. Once a week the new passengers get sent to different ships. I was fortunate when I arrived, I had to only spend a few minutes on the one you are currently on. Did you arrive alone?
