[ he doesn't move to leave, but Lloyd does climb up the ladder to close the hatch properly before settling on the last step of the ladder. if Kaneis didn't bring his wings out for this long, then maybe he didn't want the others to know about them.

I didn't know the wings molted this much though? [ if Lloyd's wings are like twice the size of Kaneis's… just how much will his wings molt?! ]

I only brought 'em out for the first couple of months. When I showed them to you, it was the first time I took them out in a while.

Thaaaat might be because she had a lot of faith that you'd figure out it was something you need to do on your own. You know, like most of us do.

Not...quite.

I mean they shed a lot, but- preening helps cut down on that.
