Okay. She can handle this. She's a fuckin' Barnam, she can handle anything. And hissy fits, while cathartic, are completely useless in every other way. ]

No. It's okay, I'm just-- Most Guardians don't bond with anyone until they're like 40 or so. Late 20s is really early. I'm seventeen, y'know? I thought I had a couple decades before I had to deal with this.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to deal with it myself. I mean...am I supposed to do anything?

Um... well if I'm too far away from you it causes actual pain. Like, being up on the fleet on different ships I guess probably shouldn't be an issue, but if you're planetside, I need to be planetside, and visa versa. Which shouldn't be too hard, I can just shuttle you around myself, I'm a pilot.

[ Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, this is not something she's used to thinking about. She's not even sure she actually knows all the weird tetchy Guardian things that go on when you're bonded, it's not like she got much information on that when she was a kid. ]

Also I'll know if you're in danger or anything, and my job is to, y'know, protect you if you are. So don't argue with me or anything because i'll knock you out and carry you back to my shuttle if I have to. For the record.
