Who: IT'S A GAME MINGLE GET IN THE VAN
Broadcast: If you want!
Action: All of it!
When: Second half of the month.

[hey everyone! how's it been going? how's medieval-fun-time-world treating you? anyone pillaged and burned anything yet? got kicked out of the castle? been planning expeditions? registered for jousting? busy angsting for the last two weeks on your ship?

this is a mingle for everybody, whether they're hiding in the volcano, out and about in the city, or up on one of those random random stations where you can get quirky souvenirs.]

[But the sarcasm battle works, because that gets a flash of a grin from her.]

I'm sure there's someone out there who likes their souls a little on the raw side. Yours is safe from me, of course.

And I was safe from the Circles, thankfully. I actually learned from a sweet young Dwarven woman named Dagna. [Feel free to note the way her grin softens into a warm smile. Dagna really was a bright light in Skyhold, one Jove misses. Pinkquisition indeed.] Odd as it sounds, she was amazingly skilled.

[Now she looks over at him again, top of his head to his feet. He certainly has a familiar air about him, but she's certain she's never met him.]

You're from Thedas too, then? I haven't heard anyone else talking about Circles or the Dalish.

If there's one thing I've noticed about this place so far, it's that you can't swing your arms without hitting a Thedosian. And most of us seem to know each other! Incredible coincidence or sinister plot, take your pick.

[ He seems fairly comfortable with either idea, which is to say he'll at least pretend to elaborate nonchalance up to the point where he absolutely cannot anymore. Back to the more corporeal matter at hand, he eyes the blue stone appreciatively, then lights on a fist-sized chunk of unpolished rock that might turn out to be translucent red if cut right. ]

So I just bring you the materials and you do the real work?

[ Amused now, rather than skeptical. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement, after all; if they're part of the same incredible-coincidence-or-sinister plot, it's in everyone's best interests for everyone to be armed, isn't it? The worst that can happen is that it blows up in his hand. Perhaps it's telling that 'maybe she's just doing something nice' doesn't enter into his head, but ...well, some people do nice things just to do them, and some people lived far too long in Kirkwall. ]

They were apparently on an elf kick when I first brought here. I suppose whoever it is in charge of the ratings is enjoying watching the way we work as a group when some of us are a different gender or haven't met each other yet.

[In answer to his question she shrugs one shoulder, because even though he's making this should like some incredibly odd occurrence it's been her job for months now to provide for the people she brought into battle with her. It's habit, so what would one more staff be if she was already working on them?]

Outfitting my people has sort of become a habit. I don't know if I'll get a chance like this to get them what they need again, so here we are. Better to be overly prepared than entirely sunk if any demons start pouring from the sky.

[ Altruism is an incredibly odd occurrence in his life. He's never been part of a structure like the Inquisition, with the resources and professionals to make sure its troops have the best armor and weapons available. His companions' armor is what they have available, improved by what could be found at a merchant's or in exploration. Turning down the offer would just be foolish, but that doesn't mean his first instinct isn't at best incredulity and at worst suspicion. ]

Good point. Does that happen to you often? The demony thing. In my experience they tend to bubble up from the ground. Like the worst sort of mushrooms after a rain, except harder to step on.
