So long as they stop, I do not think those who requested the help will quarrel with us. And, speaking only for myself, I always prefer as little bloodshed as possible. I suppose a great deal depends on the brigands themselves and whether they will leave quietly.

I can grow some plants that will shoot seeds at them, which will probably be scary enough that they approach a few at a time, if they don't all run?

... If the bandits think the town has scary creatures nearby, doesn't that mean they won't come back? And if they are bandits that the town people are okay with us killing, would they be believed if they said they saw plants grow quickly?
