I can't ever have enough pictures of you. Besides... [ Her voice softens considerably, lowering just enough to where he can hear her still but she's making damn sure, despite the fact that they are currently alone, that only he is able to hear her. ] ...what woman would not want pictures of her handsome fiancé?
[ That's a start. She's addressed Noctis as such to everyone else, but never directly to his face. She's not sure how he's going to react, but she doesn't move her gaze from his. Even so, her smile remains despite the fact she's really struggling to regain her confidence.
She can talk down Gods, but this... this is a whole new territory. So she decides to focus on his next sentence instead, and it merely makes her smile widen. ]
That's alright... mm, are you sure you really want me to keep one, though? It will just remind me that should Prompto join us, I need to ask him about those pictures.
[ Like Noctis, her tone is teasing and playful in an attempt to hide her inner unease. She'd really like to know where they stand, but she's just not sure if bringing it up directly at this very moment is such a good idea. ]

Yet with everything with Luna, the arranged marriage had just been a way to solidify what he already knew. That she was the closest thing he had to a best friend next to Prompto and perhaps even more than that, he'd hoped someday he could be that heroic prince and save her. He'd hoped their nuptials would have taken her far out of the Imperial Empire's clutches, but he knew it had been conditions of a ceasefire so that his home could live peacefully. Or so they'd all thought. He'd never asked Luna's thoughts about it and wasn't sure if he should.]
Well, you should. If he ever shows up, I mean. They were for you.
[Awkwardly, he musses his hair at the back of his head. The fact that she still called him her fiance spoke volumes.]
I, uh... I think you'd like some of them. Like the group photos or us at camp. Stuff like that. Prompto has a real knack for candids.
[Even the occasional embarrassing butt picture.]

On the inside, the note had been simple but had touched her none the less: are you okay?
That the poor young prince would even think of her had nearly had her in tears. It was such a dark time in her life, a murdered mother, an elder brother who had been distancing himself from her more and more every day, and the pressure of taking every and all responsibilities of the Oracle at just twelve years old had her inwardly wanting to crumple up on herself.
That one simple note, the very first of many to follow in the years to come, had been one of the main things driving her to push herself harder, had her studying not only school things but Oracle things late into the night. It's because of Noctis that she'd forced herself to adapt to a life within the Empire, even if it meant killing the more childish part of herself.
After all, she'd known Noctis would need her someday. She'd promised him that she would be there by his side as both Oracle and friend, and so despite every single bad thing happening around her, he had been her driving force.
That much, even now, even after her death, hasn't changed at all. Both her heart and loyalties will always remain with her prince -- no, her King. ]
So long as you are alright with it, then I will most certainly mention it should he ever make an appearance here.
[ She's glad to see that he doesn't seem too upset with her wording, but she's still not sure. She loves Noctis with all of her heart and she wants nothing but the best for him. It makes her feel almost a little selfish to be able to call him her fiancé and part of her regrets using that title period, simply because she doesn't want him to feel tied down. She hadn't at home, and the same applies here.
He's under no obligation to marry her here, and she respects that. As much as she'd been looking forward to the wedding, the mere thought that said wedding could be causing him anguish or even more pressure had made her extremely anxious. Even now, she can feel a knot forming in her stomach because she doesn't want for him to stress out over feeling stuck to her here, or... stress out over anything in general, really.
She's caused him enough grief to last him a lifetime. He should have the freedom to choose who he wants to be with, if anyone at all. And as much as it stings that perhaps that person isn't her... she loves him enough to know that if he doesn't want her as anything but a friend, she can accept that. She can't even blame or fault him... why would he want to be with a dead girl, anyways?
She focuses on his words instead of her weighty train of thoughts, though, her smile widening despite her inner turmoil, and she nods in agreement. ]
I would love them all, I'm sure of it. I enjoy seeing pictures of you and your friends together... it means so much to me, knowing that you've made such wonderful friends over the years.

[He's testing the waters a bit, still hearing how she says fiancé still ringing in his ears. Talking about the wedding that had never happened, would never happen now thanks to Ardyn, was a small step. There was so much he was almost afraid to talk about: her death, their wedding, all the things that had been eating at him since Insomnia had been taken by the Imperial Army.]
Can we, uh, go for a walk? Around the ship, I mean. I haven't really shown you around and maybe we can find more of the fliers while we walk.
[He wanted to test the waters some more, see if perhaps they were on the same wavelength, though he wasn't even sure of his own feeling sin the first place. Talking things out with her might even help with that. She was supposed to help him, after all. It might not be the same as Ignis' role but it was close.]

[ Here, at least. She'll never get to do that at home -- thank him for what he did for Pryna, for what he's done and still doing for Noctis. For pictures she'd never been able to receive. For now, though, she listens carefully to his words. The fact that he's even bothering to mention their wedding means something -- she thinks it does, at least. She's quietly studying his face as he speaks, looking for the barest hint of unease or discomfort, and while there is some it's not as much as she'd assumed there could be.
That's a good thing. ]
Of course we can. I would like that... [ She trails off for a moment, shifting to look around -- specifically, down towards her feet. Umbra had been with her when she'd arrived, she'd brought him with the intention of leaving him with Noctis for the evening, but it seems he's run off.
Well, he's got a good nose on him, so she merely shrugs and looks back up at Noctis. ]
I wonder how many there are? [ Fliers, that is. She's still trying to figure out just who went to the extremes to put them up, honestly, but she hasn't had the pleasure of meeting any of his crew mates other than the charming candle man.
With a hum, Luna steps closer to her prince -- not close enough to crowd his personal space, of course. She's always mindful of that, but enough to where she can loop one of her arms through his, which she casually does. She keeps her hold on him extremely light, though, should he want to pull away he can do so... as much as she hopes he doesn't. But she'll never make him do anything he doesn't want to do, whether that be linking arms or talking or... well, anything in general.
Whatever makes him happiest, whatever he wants. His needs and feelings will always come before her own. ]
Where to first, hm?

[He rubs the back of his head, not pulling away when she loops her arm through his. If anything, he'd very much like to hold her hand. It was a comfort, after the feelings of agony that had accompanied never being able to see her again.]
I think all the ships are kind of the same, right?
no subject
[ Much like every single cargo bay here... at least the few she's seen. She smiles up at him as they walk along, using her opposite hand to gently pat his arm before she turns her gaze to the ceiling, looking extremely thoughtful suddenly. ]
I've no idea. Other than the Blameless and the Marsiva, this is the only other one I have been to. I have heard stories that some of them are far bigger and have better accommodations.
[ Since he doesn't seem to mind, she tightens the light hold she's got on his arm, just a little, and steps just that much closer to his side, pleased just to merely be in his presence. ]

So, are your crewmates alright?
[He tries small talk as he leads her out of the cargo bay to explore the rest of the ship.]
No one's gotten too nosy?
[He was glad his aloof nature brought him few questions. Luna was too polite for all of that.]
no subject
Yes, everyone is very nice. I have actually told our cook, Kate, about you. What about you? How are all of your crewmates?
[ ...And Kate had gone and told her she needed to woman up and open her mouth. But that can wait for now. ]
No, not at all. Other than a certain chancellor, of course. But that is more harassing than being nosy, really... and the fact he is not an actual crewmate.
[ Thankfully, Ardyn is not on any of their ships. She hums, deciding that lingering on the subject of Ardyn is not a good idea, so she's quick to change it, pausing only momentarily to shift her hand from his arm, instead slipping her fingers into his and giving his hand a light squeeze. ]
Have you had much of a chance to spend time with Ignis?
