[He doesn't really have much business on the bridge, usually, but he finds his way here often enough - usually to bother Crowley or listen in on the comms station. Today he finds the demon not around but finds Jayden instead.

He almost turns and leaves. He even get as far as the turning around part, but he hesitates, spinning back around on his heel. Admittedly, he's been avoiding his crew ever since his abrupt and dramatic exit from the Goldstone last month, but if there's one thing Felix hates, it's silence.]

Aren't you lonely here all by yourself?

[ To be fair, Jayden figured Felix would probably leave after seeing that Crowley wasn't here at the moment - doesn't offend her one bit. So she is surprised when he turns back around to talk to her! ]

A little, sure. [ She shrugs a shoulder. ] Been quiet on the ship lately - aside from the random-ass shipments, I mean.

Mm, well, given the alternatives, I will gladly take those over armed intruders any day.

[He leans lightly against the back of the comms station chair]

Given our pre-destined course, I'm sure it's not necessary for you to be here at all times.

Good point. [ Beat. ] Still need to figure out what to do with all that yarn I got, though.

[ She leans back in her own chair, takes a deep breath. ]

True. Just... figured if I'm meant to be a pilot, I should be practicing. Some habits are hard to break, I guess.

The one which makes me feel like I always have to be training for something.

[ She hesitates, for whatever reason, before continuing. ]

Things around here day to day are a hell of a lot more relaxed than I'm used to. Maybe it's just me?

[He gives her a somewhat assessing look but after a moment gives her a wry shrug]

It's likely not just you, but I'd guess we all feel the same about these stretches of idle drifting. Personally, the castle had a monthly source of excitement in some form or another, though not always of the violent kind. My life back home was practically sedate by comparison.

Except for the... castle. That mean you were somewhere else before here that wasn't home?

[ Opal mentioned something like that, at one point - not the same place, but still, it means it's a real thing that happens. (And boy, that doesn't make her feel great about her chances of getting home again. ]
