[aizawa's got the 7AM homeroom lecture voice on lock] All right, I've included everybody who expressed interest in teaching at this proposed school on Uraraka Ochako's vlog post...or whatever she's calling it.

Please feel free to discuss and ask questions of each other here, I am by no means in charge of literally anything. [that was ochako's fault, the little shit.] I thought it might be a good idea to organize so this isn't a shitshow. [and so the kids aren't expected to do everything.]

There're some questions down below that I think we could stand to answer so we can get a good idea of each other's experience and areas of expertise, as well as get to know each other as people. While this obviously isn't going to be a conventional school setup, I don't think we should avoid taking this at least a little seriously; some volunteer students will undoubtedly be attending in an effort to regain a sense of normalcy. Think of it as lowkey counseling services.

keeping the lessons self-contained should help with that, though the class size is going to be so small it's not going to be hellish for anybody to catch up.

I wonder how long these classes should run for. Usually every subject or topic runs for a semester.

Cyclical might be best. I don't know how realistic any grade or advancement structure will be, but maybe we can change courses after every semester.

Grading seems unlikely. Best to have a reflection piece at the end to see whether they believe they understood the material or not.

I meant grade more as in year, but I agree with you in that regard as well. Though sometimes students also use grades as a benchmark of their own progress, so we should be ready to give them an assessment at their request.

Certainly, if that's what they want. But it shouldn't be a mandatory aspect of the courses.

Yes. I run a school for gifted youngsters. Mutants like myself.

You'd mentioned something to Uraraka on her post about having suggested a school before, if I'm not mistaken.

I did, though it was specifically for people with powers.

No. In my world, there's a need for people to learn how to use and control their powers. I simply saw the same need here as well.

I already put in a teaching slot for powers-oriented training, but that's mostly because my student requested it. Obviously I don't have a monopoly on the subject, so you're welcome to make your own course.

I'd be happy to co-teach. I'm curious to know your techniques. On my world, I had the only school that taught mutants. Broadening my horizons would help a great deal.
