Voice;

Who: Allen Walker
Broadcast: Voice and Text;
Action: SS Blue Fish
When: Today!

[For anyone who hasn't heard from Allen in a couple months, his voice sounds different- older and slightly deeper. Someone's been using those aging upgrades okay.]

Excuse me, but I'm looking for someone who is skilled with repairing swords. I received a sword from that last world that has a lot of sentimental value to me, but for some reason it was sent in pieces. [Yeah, that sure is annoyance in his voice]

I'd be happy to pay well for the repair. Thank you.

[The broadcast ends there, but sure enough, some text rumors appear at the end of the message, unbeknownst to Allen, who had not paid attention to the post when he submitted it.]

Allen Walker dyes his hair white to be edgy.
Allen and Clay are kinky in the bedroom.
Walker really is Texan, the British accent is an act for a secret ranger mission.

[ she wonders (briefly) if this is what her lord husband had meant when he said that is why the gods made whores. she crinkles her nose and tries to unpack the trouble, here. ]

So someone is claiming that you and Ser Clay are living as married people do, only without having taken the vows?

[ she only half understands. at this point, she thinks 'kinky' simply means 'all sex'. ]

[ oh, dear ser allen. she's cornered you into explaining it regardless. she's a sly thing. ]

Then is it true? Why would someone be writing lies about you?

[ are you and ser clay kinky in the bedroom? ]

Of course you don't. It looks far too real to be dyed.

[ she should know. after all, when she'd arrived in the fleet she'd been a brunette. it had been a painful process waiting for the colour to first fade and then grow out. ]

They would, mayhaps, if they wanted to disguise themselves.

[ or pass themselves off as one of the kings of old. ]

I told you about the old kings, yes? The Targaryens, with their dragons. They all had hair like yours, Ser Allen. If one wanted to pass themselves off as a member of that house, such a hair colour would be a necessity.

Nearly, yes. Although they haven't controlled the throne for as long as I've been alive. They were overthrown shortly before I was born.

Mine is like my lady mother's. Hers is House Tully, and that was her name before she married my father. The colour, then, can be comfortably described as 'Tully red' -- although the Tullys are certainly not the only ones with such a hue in all of Westeros. Only that the colourer is rarer in the North, I think.

Like me! [ oh, this tickles her. her smile isn't visible, certainly, but the exclamation mark says it all. as punctuation goes, this was one she'd only learned here in the fleet. she uses it sparingly. ] Mayhaps we are family, Ser Allen.

I find it remarkable than one could leave, live for so long, and return while still maintaining that fondness. How good of her not to forget us.
