Excuse me, but I'm looking for someone who is skilled with repairing swords. I received a sword from that last world that has a lot of sentimental value to me, but for some reason it was sent in pieces. [Yeah, that sure is annoyance in his voice]

I don't see how that'd work. My hair has always made me stand out in crowds. I used to have to wear a hood all the time.

I told you about the old kings, yes? The Targaryens, with their dragons. They all had hair like yours, Ser Allen. If one wanted to pass themselves off as a member of that house, such a hair colour would be a necessity.

[He's seen a lot of people with white hair in the fleet and in Paradisa, enough that he's stopped feeling like a freak for having it. But it's still hard to imagine a family of royals having such hair. Sure, Princess Yue had it, but it was under special circumstances being the moon lady and all.]

Nearly, yes. Although they haven't controlled the throne for as long as I've been alive. They were overthrown shortly before I was born.

I actually find it to be a very beautiful colour.

Mine is like my lady mother's. Hers is House Tully, and that was her name before she married my father. The colour, then, can be comfortably described as 'Tully red' -- although the Tullys are certainly not the only ones with such a hue in all of Westeros. Only that the colourer is rarer in the North, I think.

I see! It's very pretty. Back where I'm from, it wasn't too unusual a colour. But in other parts of the world, it's very rare.

Is that so? What of yours, Ser Allen. Is yours rare?

The white hair? Ah yeah, it's very rare unless you're old.

It's actually not my original colour, it turned white as a side effect to my powers. [And trauma. Loads of trauma. But let's not get into that.] I actually used to have red hair.

I find it remarkable than one could leave, live for so long, and return while still maintaining that fondness. How good of her not to forget us.

Yeah. But I think that just shows how much we mean to her. You don't easily forget a home, no matter how long it's been.
