Who: Carl Grimes & You
Broadcast: Network
Action: Red Fish
When: 4/8
[ The feed opens up in the Red Fish's cargo bay, a large crate opened up and its contents strewn on the floor almost like they're being sorted. Some of the labels can be seen and they're odd flavors and they're followed by some commentary as Carl picks them up. ]
Honey avocado? Cayenne chocolate? Eugh.. Black licorice??
[ The video shakes as he turns the camera around to frame his very confused expression. ]
So I guess this is one of those sponsor drops? I'd say thanks to whoever, but these are... weird. So I guess if anybody wants weird flavored pudding, come to the Red Fish. [ There's a little shuffling as he picks up a sheet of paper and waves it.
It came with one of these, which a lot of people have been getting.
Carl Grimes likes to yell at people when they're asleep.
Carl Grimes once ate 112 ounces of pudding.
Carl Grimes can't take his hat off.
Carl Grimes got shot by a deer.
Compared to the ones other people have been getting? It's not that bad.

It's not that much when you're really hungry.
[ And also a growing teenager. ]
video
[She smiles slightly, amused more by his defense than anything.]
Suppose it depends on just how quickly you eat it, though. If you're hungry enough to eat that much pudding, eating that much pudding is probably a bad idea.
video
[ He shrugs. ] It was good at the time..
[ It had been a long time since he'd managed to get anything sweet like that, and it was kind of a stressful situation. ]
video
[Far be it for her to police anyone's pudding consumption, especially if they really needed some pudding.]
Maybe a little more restraint if you do try the cayenne though.
video
[ ... ] At least not by myself. This is something someone else should be subjected to, right?

[ He sets down the pudding and picks up another, showing the label to her. Yam. ]
video
[A pause while she considers.]
Red Fish, right?
video
[ Which he's a little disappointed about, but he's not going to really complain. They'be been through a lot of odd eats together. ]
Yeah, Red Fish. Can't miss me, I'm kind of in the way.
video
I'll come by. I don't know how much of that pile I'll be able to get through, but... hate to make you try those on your own.

[She smiles a little. She probably could have fought harder, but why? from what see saw before, the kid could use a friend.
Natasha has a habit of being what people need.
Maybe fifteen minutes later or so, she'll dock with Red Fish.]
Hey.
action
Hell, the ones he was used to are gone now, already. ]
Hey. [ He's right where he was when he made the broadcast, even. ]

[She moseys up, standing straight, her walk loose. When she's close, she taps the side of the crate with her toe.]
no subject
[ He scoots over a bit to give her room. ]
Any suggestions?
no subject
Should we start with the cayenne, or save that for the end? Honey avocado?
[Picking through some of the other flavors thoughtfully.]

[ The Atroma don't do drops in half-measures, at least. ]

She takes one of the pudding cups and peels back the lid.]
Cayenne chocolate it is. We can work up to the wasabi.
no subject
[ He doesn't know about that one, Natasha. Sounds dubious. Carl picks up a matching pudding and cracks it open before taking a bite.
The flavor is different, but it's not bad. The spice strangely goes really well with the sweet flavor. ]
Okay, that one's pretty good.
no subject
[She does try it with him. She doubts she'll get through more than two flavors. Her tolerance for pudding isn't as high as his, clearly.
But for now, she plays along.]
Could be a lot worse.
no subject
[ She called that one being good, so whatever she thinks is bad has probably got to be pretty revolting. ]
no subject
[She'd still try it, but who knows.]
