[Hey remember that whole Blood Donation network post that came up a few days ago? Well it's time for the actual blood drive! On the network, there will a message posted reminding everyone of the blood drive located on the SS Blue Fish - which is parked in a volcano in Mor. You know the volcano.]

[If your character is Donating, please fill out this form here! ]

[If your character is Volunteering - they'll have been sent a message asked to arrive before the blood drive start to set up and go over procedures. Only Volunteers with Lab Assistant Augment or a Medical background will be helping with drawing blood! Volunteers without that (or lab assistants not interested in drawing blood) can be assisting with greeting people, helping people with paperwork, checking on donor's well-being, handling payments, or manning the cookie table. There's lots to do!]

[Be warned that since it's a blood drive, sections of this post will Contain Content with Blood and Needles. If that stuff makes you uneasy and you wish to handwave your character's involvement with the blood drive- that's totally fine! Otherwise go, have some fun full of blood and cookies!]

You can't tell that sort of thing. No one can.

[ She wrinkles her nose as he licks the cookie. Fine. You can keep that one. ]

If it did, you probably shouldn't have been donating in the first place...

We're not exactly rolling in them. It's not like we can turn too many people away.

[He gestures to the...pretty small turnout. ]

[ She glances around, and... okay. He has a point. ]

Ship's not that big, and there's only so many shuttles. People could be coming later...

I really hope they do, because I may not know a whole lot about this blood stuff, but I don't think we got much to deal with anything serious right now.

[ Steph frowns a little while she goes for another cookie. ]

Well. It's not like we're in serious danger here, so far. And the Marsiva can heal... some pretty nasty injuries, trust me. More than we could take care of here, probably.

...assuming they'd actually intervene if one of us got really badly hurt.

I know. I had a broken leg, back home. When I woke up here, it was like it wasn't there at all.

That's a big assumption, depending on whatever is best for the 'drama'.

Okay, well, I was trying to look on the bright side, but fine.

I still don't think they want us dead. If they did, we'd be visiting places a little scarier than Renn Faire Land and the Planet of Makeup.

Oh no, they definitely don't want us dead. Except for that one guy, maybe, y'know, the one who did die.

I don't think they'd stop any of us getting hurt though, they'd probably encourage it.

...wait, someone actually died? I... maybe missed that part...

Uh huh, it was a couple months ago. Do you know about a guy called Robin? He got his heart ripped out by some angry pointy eared guy on the Fleet.

Okay, yeah, no one told me about that. Is it just me, or does the existence of a freaking murderer in the Fleet seem like information we should all share?

...is angry pointy-eared guy still here? [ She has a guess at who he means, but this doesn't seem like a place where she'd want to jump to conclusions. ]

Yeah, you think that'd be a priority number one. 'By the way, we have a murderer on the Fleet'.

I think so? I made it a point to stay away from him.

...if you want to sneak another cookie, I'll look the other way just this once.
