[Video] Complaint #1
Who: Edna and You
Broadcast: Oh yes
Action: on the Marsiva
When: today
[Video]
[Being warm and comfortable is nice for half a second, but Edna has never needed to sleep in her life. Sure, resting is great and all, especially after a long and hard fight, but still not necessary. And waking up has never been difficult for her. Until now.
She rolls over and stretches, a booted foot sticking out of the blankets as her gloved hand covers a yawn that would put a man five times her size to shame. One blue eye cracks open before the other and she slowly rotates her head over.
And sees a black sky sprinkled with stars. Too many stars. That's when she sits up and looks around, frowning as she sees the sterile metal....things everywhere.]
Where's my mountain?
[Her hands pat around her, looking for her umbrella, and come up empty. Her voice and face definitely let anyone who can see her over the comm know that she is Not Happy. Sadly all that comes through is her voice, and the movements she makes on the bed. So, beware of ghosts.]
Alright, Meebo, you can give my umbrella back. You have five seconds.
[Action]
[For those with high spiritual resonance, they will see a tiny girl who is stomping around the Marsiva, looking as if she can murder anything or one who gets in her way. Her footsteps are much heavier than someone of her size should be able to generate, but that's not stopping her.]

please please please]Right... you mentioned Rayfalke.
[It's not a place they visit often, for obvious reasons... so he can only imagine what they're doing there. Better not to ask for now.]
I don't know where to find the Atroma, or what their true intentions are, but I know that time works differently here. It's been more than a year since Sorey and I arrived.
no subject
Duh.
[She also said "her mountain". He must be getting stupider from all the hits to his head.]
What? What do you mean a year? You left the rest of us back on Glenwood to go play in the stars?
no subject
Like we had any choice in the matter. Anyway, you said you saw me five minutes ago, so for you it obviously hasn't been that long. That's what I mean about time being weird.
no subject
Is that really going to be the hill to die on?]
Time is always weird for me. This is a little different, I guess, but it could be worse.
[She frowns and it shows in her voice.]
No, wait. It can't. We've been kidnapped. Where are Rose, Lailah and the others? You already said Sorey is here.
[And she doesn't really feel the weakness she would if she was without her pure vessel, so it wasn't a huge surprised to have Mikleo say Sorey was there.]
no subject
Sorey, Zaveid and I are here. Lailah was around for a while, but they must have decided to send her back for whatever reason.
And... Dezel's here, too.
[He could technically mention Eizen, but he's not sure if that's the right punch to throw at her. Explaining Dezel is probably hard enough- not that he has an explanation for it. He's hoping that she and Eizen can work things out for themselves.
If not there will be Words.]
no subject
[Honestly, Lailah is almost normal compared to some of them.
But that name... makes her stop. She's not the type to cry unless it's really hard to keep it from spilling out. But even she was sad to see the cranky, obsessed Wind Seraph die. Especially since he'd saved Rose in the process.
And Edna might like Rose. Maybe.]
I was wrong. This is too different, even for me. How?
no subject
I don't know. Even Dezel doesn't know. All we can say for sure is that they can revive those who have died.
no subject
Coming back, no one comes back. No one.]
You... [Deep breath she doesn't need because he sounds too much like he knows what he's talking about.] You've seen it then? The dead coming back?
no subject
I wouldn't lie about that kind of thing. Least of all to you.
[They bicker all the time, and they might never get along, but it isn't like he hates her. He's not cruel enough to play that sort of trick.]
no subject
But she trusts him a great deal. She knows what kind of person he is. ]
No need to tiptoe around my feelings. I'm not going to suddenly start crying for no reason.
[She's really not much of a crier at all, honestly.]
Fine, so I'm stuck on this metal thing until when? I don't like it.
no subject
unless of course Eizen just goes and does it himself, which is. fine.]Going by how it usually works, you'll be sent to a different ship probably by the end of the week. You'll know when it happens. After that, we'll be able to meet up.
no subject
Another metal ship, lovely.
Look, is there someway to get our things back? Walking around unarmed is just dumb.
no subject
no subject
[Complete with the stupid Normin plush that Phoenix gave her to replace him hanging from the edge for a millennium. That particular parasol is important.]
Would any old staff just replace the one you got from Muse?
[It's a bit of a low blow, but he'll get why she's asking.]
no subject
He knows she's just lashing out because that's what she does, but still.]
I never said you had to be satisfied with a replacement. I'm only warning you about the reality of our situation.
no subject
They're friends and traveling companions. She might not be nice, but she's generally been a good person. And now...
There's a line and she just stomped through the ground and broke it into a million tiny pieces.]
I'm sorry. You deserve better than that.
[She sighs and wishes she had anything to keep her hands busy.]
Thanks.
no subject
did she seriously just
apologize??? to him????
he's honestly too surprised to be all that upset anymore. He's seen her do it before, but he's assumed for a while now that he falls outside of her standard "treat these people as people not wrath targets" behaviour.
Now he's just embarrassed.]
I... it's fine, forget it. More importantly, there's a few things you need to know about this place before you get assigned to a ship. I don't want it to be a surprise.
no subject
And she meant it when she said he deserves better, because he does.
Sometimes.]
Then I guess for once I'll listen to your babble. What do I need to know exactly?
no subject
for being late]It isn't just Dezel. Eizen's here, too.
no subject
[Nope, not doing this. Not dealing with this crap. She went over the line, sure, but she apologized. This? This is too much.
She doesn't even respond. She just gets up and walks away from the communicator, footsteps showing her anger and hatred and general unpleasantness as everything shakes around her.]
